Because it's not fair for one reason. Also, because Ford said they would give priority to rollover orders! They didn't explain that priority is only at your dealer.
Hooray! Love the color, also. I am on 373 days and counting for an XL Ecoboost in Cactus Gray. Hoping to get scheduled in December. Looks like no chance for November.
There were two price increases for the 2023 model year. One was $500 like you mentioned. The other was $805, for a total of $1,305. At least that was correct for the XL model. As you stated, $100 was an increase in the shipping charge. I read that Ford's offer on the XL Ecoboost would be...
Yep, Ford didn't explain that when they said the old orders would get priority! The truth hurts, especially for those of us that ordered from small dealerships.
Projections are not always accurate. How about continued supply chain issues, which are already being mentioned this year? If the 22 and 23 models were really getting priority, they would get built first!
It would be good to know how many of these are rollover orders. When Ford said they were giving rollover orders priority, it must have only meant within the dealership you ordered from and not nationwide. I've seen quite a few new orders get scheduled for Oct. and Nov. already, so the priority...
Well, they sure didn't get to my order! Even if they finally get to it in December, it will be 16 months before I get a truck! Mine is a rollover, so go figure.
Wow, nothing but bad news for XL orders! I'm past the one year mark and can't even get scheduled for an XL with full size spare tire! This is really getting old, and at 72, I'm not getting any younger!!!!
I just talked on Ford Chat today. I asked them why my rollover order is priority 3. I thought all rollovers were to be priority 2. They said ask your dealer. Dealer says 3 is best code they can give it and Ford has to change it to 2. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for your input.
I've received a bunch of them. Most of them with bad news. One of them said things were getting better. Things were not getting better! I remember one of them said most of the 2023 Ecoboosts would get built. About 4,000 of them, including mine, did not get built. Now, that I have been...
Not really, because like me, I just want to get a truck. I am down to a base XL Ecoboost now with a full size spare. I am tired of all the games Ford seems to be playing. I'd rather hear nothing at all, than promises they can't keep.
I think you are wrong about this post. I believe most have been waiting a year or more. My order was placed on 9/20/22. Like you said many have been waiting for close to two years. I have seen numerous posts on here where people that just ordered in July have already been scheduled.
