Did you ever have any of the PCM software recall updates applied? It is known that the Job 1 programming had too strict EGR tolerances which could erroneously trigger a fault.

It's just a generic threaded plug, no real specific application. Probably originally from something hydraulic that got rebuilt judging by the black paint (they get installed before the part is spray painted) although they're handy to keep around for reuse. Unlikely it's directly related to your...
The black plug has a blank male connector plugged into the female side which is wired. On older model years there was a dummy wire between the two to act as retention.
Direct injection provides better performance since it's injecting atomized fuel directly into the cylinder instead of just dumping it into the airflow pre-valves and hoping for the best as far as mixing in the cylinder. There's a reason diesels have been using it for decades. It's not some green...
I've usually heard the opposite from eBay sellers that they're more likely to side with the buyers to the point it means the seller eating return shipping, repaying listing/sales fees, or being on the receiving end of some return scam.
Even then I usually go through PayPal which is also...
The alternator output feedback circuit also is a factor. Even if it's charging fine, flaky output from the sense circuit will limit power to loads like the steering assist (although that should trigger a Charging System Fault message on the IC).
There's no "pump" like some sort of electric-over-hydraulic system. It's an actual electric motor integrated into the steering column that increases output torque based on input. The actual steering gear is just a dumb rack and pinion setup, as opposed to older EPAS implementations that mounted...
For my own truck I'm going with some lighter, all-weather tires as my next set. Which I already have because while, at 36k miles the Nokians are still at like 50% tread, they're showing minor dry rot cracking on the sidewalls (they were discounted NOS units so ~6 years old now) which also befell...
Personally I'd prefer more aggressive sipes and/or treadblock-ing for ice/snow-biting. They tamed that aspect down from the Rotiiva AT (and even that was a bit half-hearted) it replaced in their model lineup. So I'd be more inclined towards the Vredestein Pinza or Yokohama Geolandar. The Pinzas...
The booster heater is on Hybrids (so not a Lobo) and only works in a quite narrow range of conditions. Being 12V it's also not especially powerful, but mostly just to help provide defrost when the engine is cold.
DPFE is the sensor that measures EGR flow - differential pressure feedback electronic.
@SuperTongue have you had all of the recalls done, particularly ones like the programming for the engine failure monitor? Those would have updated the PCM which the newer versions would have incorporated the...
The folks using the R+L speaker inputs usually don't have the B&O setup. I wouldn't trust the woofer signal on the B&O to not have a high pass filter since it has the dedicated subwoofer. And it won't get mucked with by fade/balance settings.
Yes, you can configure fog lights to stay on when the high beams turn on. But if one wanted the lights to only turn on with the high beams that's less practical.
