As you can see I have a two post lift in the shop. When I did the work it wasn't yet connected to the 220.
I used a floor jacknon each side, just behind the embossed "lift point" and it lifted the entire side.
These trucks are really rigid and front heavy. I wonder what the weight bias is...
Also remember that Verizon is the slowest adopter of new software. Chances are that every carrier will have Coolwalk before Verizon users do.
I'm betting two weeks before I'll have it.
Just a note on that - tap into your FRONT speakers. The power to the rear is significantly reduced and might be subject to a low pass filter.
Several posts on this by others. Good luck, looking forward to your progress!
I ordered 9/15.
Build date 12/5.
Delivered 12/31.
It was 114 days order to possession, and 24 days shipping. It went from Hermosillo to Las Vegas, NV amd sat in Vegas in the railyard for almost three weeks! Was driving me crazy, I'm only 100 miles away.
Dang it, I missed posting by a week but last Saturday I took delivery of my Cactus Gray '23 and took it straight home to lower it. Had 12.1 miles when I tore it apart.
Three hours later it was handling significantly better and (my opinion) looked a million times better. Your mileage may...
They really did. I'm from the mid-80's to late 90's mini truck ages. About the time they started going INSANE with paint, body, airbags, custom fabrication, etc. I kind of lost interest, but never the love for it.
I miss the days of simple, daily driven, static slammed and tastefully modded...
Ford Authority is now a shit show. They used to be a pretty reliable information source but now they're just click-bait garbage.
And the EcoBoost is DEFINITELY available on the XL.
My '22 EcoBoost XL got 26-27 around town and 33-34 on the highway.
For thise waiting, it's for sale since my '23 hybrid XL arrived. Message me if interested.
I just read your whole thread, great info!
I've built a number of boxes over the years and while I'm pretty good at it I'm definitely going to look at things again before I buy a sub. May even make a MDF box beforehand to be certain.
I agree, I would prefer a ported box too but the room...
Thanks for the input, I always appreciate contrasting opinions. My measurements are indeed quick and rough, but I'll CAD (cardboard assisted design) a box before I cut any wood.
Cutting plastics out isn't an issue for me. Hell, cutting and welding steel isn't an issue, but I'd like to modify...
Yeah buddy! I LOVE my JL TW3's but I didn't think I could get enough air for them without more modifcation to my Maverick than I wanted to do right now. A single 10" is going to have to do it for me. (Wife hates bass anyway, LOL.)
Looking forward to this!
