  1. Goodbye Maverick after 125k Miles

I have the true unicorn. The only thing not original are the tires. Factory Conti tires were replaced at Ithink 98k miles. Edit: Rear bumper was replaced because I bumped into. Èdit: I just checked, tires were actually replaced at 103k miles...
  2. Goodbye Maverick after 125k Miles

Very reliable. Still getting low 40s mpg. I had minor annoyances like everyone else had. I guess the worst was a slight transmission fluid leak at 67k miles that cost $600 to repair because it was not covered by warranty. I still have some recalls I was putting off. I might get those done now...
  3. Goodbye Maverick after 125k Miles

Well, not really. I've used my Maverick for work as a field service tech since day one and after 2 years 4 months and 125k miles, she's going to get a break. Work decided that it's best(for the company of course) if we get fleet cars. Enter 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Premium. I have to say, she...
  4. Leaking transmission @ 2,000 miles. Change your fluids early.

https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/hybrid-oil-leak-at-67k-miles-update.32268/ Exactly like mine but mine didn't show up until after 60k miles. Took it to the dealer and found out it's wasn't covered under warranty. But yours should be since you only have 2k miles. Bring it in...
  5. Major Power Outage... Thank God I have a Hybrid

I realize you could accomplish the same with an Ecoboost Maverick with an optional inverter but the fact of the matter is, I did it with a Hybrid Maverick. So yeah.... Thank God I have a hybrid. Some people always have something to say about something because they think they know it all. I...
  6. Major Power Outage... Thank God I have a Hybrid

My house is the only one in the block that I can see that has any sign of light. I ran an extension cord into the house. I have a fan, 75" TV watching local channels, a lamp and chargers going. Not bad.
  7. What's your Maverick mileage and ownership time?

'22 details in my signature These are the recalls I have that I'm not getting done until they sort the problems out. I'm not having issues now so I'm not taking chances.
  8. Tri-Fold Bed Cover and Two Bales of Hay

You can get either a retractable or a hard trifold. Stand those bales up and strap them down. You can fit 4 maybe 5 bales. Your rear view will be obstructed but shouldn't be a problem.
  9. I've never had brake pads last this long

I'm a service tech. My area is about 120 miles radius so my daily drive is about 250 miles. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Sometimes alot more when I help the other guys in their areas another state over.
  10. I've never had brake pads last this long

2022 Hybrid 109k miles and the brakes still have alot of life left. Just amazing! I was getting my tires rotated at Discount Tires and I asked permission to go in there and check my brakes while the wheels were off.
  11. Yet another bed lighting post....

Looks good. Link for the light you used please. Are you still able to use the cubby space with all the wires on the cover?
  12. The Continentals are Junk: Gotta Go. 3 flats 3,000 miles

Okay, we get it. Continentals are junk.
  13. Sounds like i just got married...

It seems to happen even at a slow enough speed. If conditions permit, I'd jack up one wheel at a time and spin it by hand and see if you can hear it. Or just bring it to the dealer and hope that whatever is wrong will be covered under warranty.
  14. Got rear ended this morning - hitch step saved my Mav

That is ridiculous. Sorry to hear that. Would love to have seen pictures of the damage. Any idea how fast he was going? Those with metal hitch step, take note. Who knows if a plastic one would have made a difference. I like to think it would have. I made the holes between the locking pin...
  15. What's on your Maverick keys / keychain?

Bottle opener my daughter found while we were swimming in the river years ago. I filed it for opening boxes. Pewpew safe key, and a Grand Canyon key tag a friend gave me when he visited the place. Some sentimental value in that and the bottle opener. If you're wondering why I removed the...
