Funny you asked coz I just checked my brakes Friday. They still look good. Still original.
I do the brakes on all our cars but idk about this Maverick, esp because of the problem you mentioned about putting it in maintenance mode. Hopefully by the time I need new brakes, somebody has...
Yes, it's for the Mobil 1 Hybrid.
If there's any difference between the two Mobil 1 oils, good or bad, it's not noticeable to me. Still drives the same and still getting 40+ mpg. And no, I've never had to add oil between oil changes since day one. Then again, I've never checked oil level...
I had to think about this. Actually, the only thing I'm doing somewhat consistently is the oil change. I've replaced air filters once and will be found it again this week. I've done a transmission drain and fill once and plan on doing it again around 120k mark. I've rotated my original tires...
The first two oil changes were at 5k and 11k. Then around every 10k after that. Please don't ask why I picked those numbers because I don't have an answer. 🤷‍♂️
My personal OCI is around 10k miles. I wish the truck tells me how much of that is ICE and electric but my XLT does not. When I change oil, monitor still shows above 20%
That's Boboy.
I sent an oil sample to Blackstone Labs after my last oil change at 98K miles and here is the result. I have done a total of 11 oil changes since day 1 using Mobil 1 oil and OEM filter. Good Report they say so that's awesome. I think my Mav was made on a Wednesday. :giggle:
100k miles on my original Continentals in my '22 Hybrid... and still going. I would say +80 percent of my mileage is interstate. Some say they needed replacement a long time ago just because of mileage. Where I'm from, as long as they're still rolling, they're good. I will have to replace...
Sorry to hear about the OP's problem. I guess there will always be a bad apple in the bunch.
My 22 Hybrid just hit 100k miles last week. Knock on wood, so far so good.
My 22 Hybrid Maverick just hit 100k. I'm guessing not high enough or old enough for your definition of Longevity/long term. So far so good. Practically problem free. It replaced a 2010 Toyota with 465k miles.
I, too, had a 2000 Taurus wagon. That was a great family car. Sold it to my...
1 year 11 months and 100k miles later....
Still runs great and continues to get 40+ mpg. She's holding up fine but does look a little rough with the dent when a branch fell on her during a storm. Also, I don't know when it happened but I must have driven on a wet road paint. She has some...
First off, congrats OP. That's a dandy.
Maybe hunting season is the one thing he looks forward to in life. Maybe that's what keeps the old man going.
There's alot of things I look forward to. But other than family stuff, the one thing I look forward to the most every year is hunting...
Thank you. I based my build on one of the many YouTube videos that are already out there. Just search DIY pickup slide out tray.
I measured between the wheel wells for the base. It just sits on the bed but it's pretty snug. I then assembled the side rails/guides and back stops from 2X4s I cut...

Thank you. The above is what I have. Alot cheaper now than when I bought last year. I paid almost double. I'm happy with it. For my next one, I would like higher resolution, and gps feature so there's no question how fast I'm going if I get pulled over for speeding.
