I've been putting off recalls for a while but finally decided to get them done. I have an appointment this coming Wednesday. I'm dreading it because my Mav has been running well. I hope I don't regret this.
Below is a list of recalls my Mav needs. For those who have had these done, will they...
I think we can say the same about you. BTW, you're winning alot of hearts here.
I had a Toyota with a 3.5 2GRFE before I got the Mav. When the extended warranty ran out, I changed my OCI to 12k-13k miles using Mobil 1 Extended Performance. If Mobil claims it can protect up to 20k miles, who...
Same here and I have BLIS as well.
This is what I bought.

Mine was accidentally setting it off before sunrise getting ready to go into the woods to hunt. Property owner didn't say anything but I'm sure they weren't happy. I wasn't gonna wait until they said something.
Button came off after the second time it happened.
I know, hard to believe. But no reason to jest. I'm cheap and i like to make things last and get the most out of my money. I drive like a Sunday driver granny. That's not to say I take my time accelerating from take off. Last I want to do is piss people off behind me. I just take corners and...
I'm with you OP. I have at least 4 recalls that I have been putting off as well. I figured, I'm not having any problems now so why risk it esp since my wife drives the Maverick now.
But.... I've decided to get them done hoping they've fixed all the bugs. I will call and get it schedule.
That time of the year.
Pic is after I unloaded it by myself. I needed help loading it back up though.
Mav is now at 128k miles and still running very well.
Maybe my battery is going bad. I never got this message when I used to drive my car for work. Now that it only gets driven in town less than 25 miles 4 to 5 time a week, I get this message quite a bit. It popped up this weekend just 30 minutes after a 2.5 hours drive and 120 miles. It wasn't...
I'm with you OP. I have five recalls showing on my FordPass app and I'm hesitant to get them done, esp since my 22 XLT is running fine. And esp since my wife is the one driving the truck now. Too many horror stories here from members after getting their recalls done.
It seems, though, that Ford...
My experience made a certain body part pucker.

I read one thread about some getting their recalls done in their driveway with the mobile service and I'm thinking, man, I really need to get my recalls done. Then I read this thread and I'm like, nope, I'll wait some more.
Yeah, some folks told me to replace it long before I did. But where I'm from, if it still holds air and still rolling, it's good....
And I'm cheap. Actually, they were right. Anyway, I'm glad nothing happened.
Great looking truck and perfect color choice. Yeah, tis the season. Going camping, fishing and crabbing at the end of the month. Will definitely do some shooting soon.
Nice looking Crosstrek, too! What year and what made you get rid of it?
Thanks for mentioning that. Will definitely check it. There are a couple of things I want to do to it like change spark plus and do anther trans drain and fill.
