Do it once a week for a month and the fluid is pretty close to what a flush job would do. Same for the clutch and power steering, though neither of those is really a thing on newer cars.
The plastic wheel on my base trim Tacoma is even better than the one in my old Impreza.
On second thought, newer Subarus might actually be using Toyota steering wheels. Agree that the Subaru one does feel pretty good.
Brake fluid is corrosive and contains anti-corrosive additives. Over time the additives get consumed and old fluid can start to damage parts, though this is pretty unlikely outside of a spill. If you do replace the brake fluid, might as well drain the whole system and upgrade to stainless...
I was hoping someone would point out which Maverick parts are coming from Canada.
Instead it's another shit show thread of extremists yelling at each other.
🤷‍♂️
Said I would have my truck on 3 months. :ROFLMAO:
That's why, 3 months ago, I ordered from another dealer that said they had no clue when the truck would get here. Still unscheduled.
This. Order submission is a multi-step process and your dealer likely dropped the ball before getting everything done.
@C_ross1979, did they ask for a copy of your driver license?
Get a cheap $60 TracFone from eBay. It will be a budget model with Android 9 or 10 and a year of low limit service. Use it for the purpose described and also as a backup phone. Repeat after a year to get something with a more recent version of Android.
Having said that, I just use my daily...
I doubt the exhaust will do much unless you keep on the gas for awhile since initial acceleration is handled by the electric part of the power train. Would be cool if someone found a way to get more torque out of it. Maybe something similar to those electric drag cars using old Nissan Leaf parts.
Why not just use a phone instead and use the screen in the car for Android Auto? Could get one with a year of service and a very small amount of data for $60.
The clear/white version looks like it has some real mainstream potential. Would like to see the blue on a Mav police car. The green is... interesting.
Edit: I see now that they are all just the same product changing colors 🤦‍♂️
