Tow/Haul isn't going to cause more regen then would be accomplished with the brake pedal, or the ICE running more to get up inclines.
What it does do is prioritizes have the HVB closer to the 70% SOC side rather than allowing the 30% side.
That way when extra power is needed - you got enough...
So you are watching the instantaneous MPG figure it sounds like.
That actually has very good accuracy - system is using how much grams of fuel is being used to the estimated tire rotation distance - both pretty specific figures.
But any variation in wind, or air temp, or humidity - will show...
Wow - can't believe the number of people that believe a change from "up to" (which likely means was) 10% ethanol to 15% ethanol would be meaningful in any short term manner.
Around here at least - permanent labels are normally "up to 10%" for the 87 Oct.
Did this math for another group saying...
Am I reading a thread from 3-4 years ago?
Feels like that.
I guess we haven't had enough keys locked in car threads to get the reminders out how this happens.
Due to drivers own hand.
And the caveats and differences with keyless entry.
And settings for unlock all or not on drivers door open.
Now there's a problem looking for a solution - to keep junk out better, or make it easier to clean out.
Now the cowl gutter screens do catch some of what ends up down there - of course a flap was already there.
@MABETT seems to be curious about places on truck that could use improvement.
Think...
85% on SLA batteries.
Seems 92% on AGM.
With no programming change required!
80% on SLA is when the float charge starts, close to 1/2 Amp.
87% on AGM I recall it being noted.
Of course - once it's lost it - throw that 80/87% out the window - the goal has changed.
Never mind full change...
Updated 24MY manual online. I think I saw it done to 23MY also. Wouldn't be surprised if 22 got it. This happened about at least 8 months after the 25MY came out - and their manual had some changes on several other things that were changed on prior years.
Other Maintenance Items 1

Alright - too curious to wait.
24MY non-keyless entry, no keypad. So location of fob doesn't matter.
Lock all door button.
Shut door.
Wait 30 seconds.
Key open door.
Passive alarm warning/countdown start.
Key in ignition to Accessory.
Alarm off.
The dashboard warning is incorrect - turning to...
It appears the manual is wrong on that matter of how to arm.
Pre-25MY we got confirmed door Lock all button.
Door keypad.
Fob lock all.
All arm the passive alarm.
Meaning you use a key to gain access without correct FOB, you got some seconds to start the truck to confirm you do have a FOB...
Climbed!!!
Come on - are you sure there isn't video of you doing a Dukes of Hazzard jump?
Just gotta make sure the video is high enough to not show the mini-trampoline.
Sorta like abusing, I mean using the 12V system to show up an already almost bad battery - but before the 3/36 warranty is up.
At least you'll be going in with balanced tires so they don't just throw that back at ya.
And if not that extreme yet, should mean other components didn't get hammered...
Sounded like initial tire usage was with some unbalance and vibration.
For how long?
That could have pushed some CV joint problem from on the edge to over the edge.
Good point.
They are watching - if they see you using the keypad after door closed - they know the fob is in the vehicle.
That may be a problem or not.
If you lock all with the fob before exiting with door slightly open, and get it quickly to your inside hiding place - you have some seconds...
Only!
Many have had it done with far less.
My right one at 20k.
Now, I felt no symptom yet, only inner boot leaking (there's your center potential), and winter time I think techs were not busy, so they took the warranty work.
And I'm sure the inner would have taken much longer to start...
Hmmmm - same year/trim.
Down to some settings differences if not production run difference.
Sounds like Vern has truck connected up for Ford app remote access to work.
Bill - got the same?
I could see if truck isn't setup for potential remote start - why enable some functions.
The truck also...
You could indeed do that.
But to get good enough coverage of foil - you are going to have your hands all over that bundle and wires - might as well just spend the effort getting it out.
Now - if your finance paperwork specifically calls out by signing you agreed to that and disconnecting gives...
I think that's the known point - there is a tranny issue.
And the software update gets around it by using the parking brake when it happens.
Precisely to avoid needing to address the root cause of cracking the tranny. Very expensive.
@klutch14u
It would be interesting after the auto-EPB...
Hey - even though it says due to high friction - maybe you just seem to making everything land in the right spot not to engage it too.
What are the odds!
Go get some lottery tickets!
@Captain Bemo
Since you have 26 - have you ever made sure your belt is locked, and then Start truck, and watched the screen for the prompt that asks if you want to keep the last driving mode used?
And selected OK instead of allowing it to time out?
Then you can do the same thing with next...
