I’m only at 10k miles but when my tires do need swapped think I am going with 235/65R17 size (which I think is what is on a Tremor). I figure less of a mpg hit than the 245’s. Might possibly do a small lift of 3/4 or 1 inch. I agree, the OEM tires look a little small.
Have a 25 Hybrid, AWD w 4K tow. Definitely best vehicle I have ever owned. Absolutely love it. That being said, this is my first new vehicle purchase so not used to that new vehicle price tag/payment. Compared to other trucks of similar capabilities, yeah it's cheap though I suppose. Best value...
Hello. Looking to possibly add a small amp and replace the stock front speakers on a 25 Hybrid XLT. Don't need anything earth shattering and also want to mount behind the seat (as opposed to one of the cubby wholes below the seat) if possible. Don't think stock ones are terrible but most...
Way to make that bold decision to buy a vehicle that another 412,848 people also made last year in the US. Of that, only 360,000 or less will actually use it for its actual capabilities. 😆 jk…I think
Congrats, did the same with a 2006 Tundra. Loved my first gen Tundra but it had 246k miles on it and I have to scooter kids to school and around town. The Toyota was also RWD and I was stuck on a bluff at least a couple times a year.
I'm curious if anyone with an Eruption Green Mav has added the Carbonized Grey letters? I thought it may look good, especially on an XLT as I feel like it would match the wheels.
Since this was posted, a known issue with the cv joints materialized which it appeared lifting the truck exacerbated. So I would make sure yours has the beefier Tremor cv joints before trying this.
The turning radius of my Maverick is like a dream after driving a Tundra for 7 years. I'm guessing the OP is not coming from a half ton or bigger truck.
Yeah, I agree with you about the speakers, they sound decent to me also. I think it's been discussed on here about the Synch 4 system delivering more power to the speakers that wasn't present in the 22-24 XL/XLT Mavericks.
Nice. Did you swap the door speakers while you had that taken apart? Apparently an easy swap, taking the panels off is the hardest thing. Coming from an almost 20 year old Tundra, the cabin seems pretty quite in my 25 XLT Hybrid. I guess it's all about perspective and what your used to.
Is anyone aware of an in cab decibel test for the 25 models? I ask because I was worried about this issue, the no knob HVAC controls, the bigger LED screen being too bright and the supposedly $shitty XLT speakers after reading posts on here about the 22-24 XL/XLT's.
All of them have been non...
 I get the feeling that almost every single person who mentions this as a determining factor in not getting a newer model, has actually never even used the new controls. And the folks that actually confirm they have used both on this forum seem to agree with me that it's a non issue.
Just...
This is such an overblown topic on here. I was also slightly worried when I preordered my 25. It’s turned out to be such a non issue it’s comical how much it’s talked about on here. The controls are always present at the bottom of that bigger better screen. So while digital, it might as well be...
Why the 2025 is less safe than the earlier years
You gotta love this dumb@$$ trend of people telling other people what to think in the headline of the post or article without any real data or supporting facts to back it up (see all political posts on the internet). Hell, you don't even need any...
