I have an 25 XLT Hybrid with 4k tow and it also didn't come with Pro Trailer Assist. My opinion is just using the back-up camera with the dotted lines on the screen to line up the hitch is so easy. I'm coming from a first gen Tundra that didn't have a camera or anything so just having that...
Another "pro tip". Love ecomode for the economy but the lack of power isn't always great. I'll switch to "sport mode" or at least "normal mode" on some occasions, particularly merging on the interstate. Give ya some more giddy up to get into tight spaces lol
Welcome daynasliltruck! I have the same model and color and love it also. Can you share the Amazon seat covers you purchased? Do they match the exterior Green? Love the rare green but the fact the seats don't match is mildly annoying. Still wouldn't change it for another color.
If your worried about power with the hybrid, try it in Sport mode. Holy cow it has some giddy up! I mostly use it when I am merging lanes. Normal mode ain't bad either.
Yeah, that might be an appeal for more female owners, I don't know. I do think it looks pretty good. I know I'm in the minority as I am not a big fan of the Lariat wheels, but they look pretty good with that color.
Bought this at Aldi’s yesterday, thought it may be a good fit for the Maverick doors and it was. Fits snug and stays when you open and close the doors.
Wow, this is the worst one I've seen.
"Appearance Protection Plan" - WTF?
"Stripe" (value $299.95) - Guessing you could get this on Aliexpress for $12
Nitrofill - the old standby rip-off, tried and true
"Infotainment Shield (value $399.95) mine was $12 on Amazon it's been holding up great...
Definitely worth it. I modified my order at the last second to add them. So glad I did. That being said, they were about $200 as a new truck order add-on. Ordering them by themselves though at $400 (if that is the price?) would be pushing it. I might consider the DIY route.
Following - also have an XLT and don't think it's that bad but would like to replace the speakers for better mids one day. Also possibly add a small amp but would like it to be mountable to the back frame and not take up an entire storage space under the back seat.
Nice! I feel like the tire size of 235/65R-17 is the way to go. the 225's just look slightly too small and the 245's look slightly too big to me and may impact mpg's too much. Probably unpopular opinion, just my personal one. 🤷♂️
Yeah, I love having the ability to tow my, right at 4k pound, loaded camper to some fairly close state parks occasionally. And it does fine (I do usually stay in the 55-60mph range though). That being said, if I was going across the country and in higher elevations for extended periods, I would...
