Convertibles are my year-round preference. But my wife tends to complain about the top being down and messing up her hair . . .
Of the 70k that I put on my '06 Miata GT, well under 1k was with the top up.
THis is her maverick. I was surprised when she said "yes" to the moonroof as we...
I so wanted a convertible Karmann Ghia long ago.
A few years ago, I stumbled across one here after my car rolled over and died--and realized that there is no way that I'd go into today's Las Vegas traffic in one! (or an MG, or . . .)
OK, the lack of AC would kind have been a show stopper...
Slacker!
I was 11 when I started wandering the neighborhood with my mower!
There's not much point in an engine that can produce significantly more than the tires can deliver . . .
If that's the one I'm thinking of, it wasn't so much a CVT as a single speed with torque converters...
I want a '26 Cadillac--but there isn't a 2026 that I would touch!
(OK, I'd settle for anywhere from '24-'26, but the only 2027s that would interest me, if they actually happen, are the F-150 Lightning plugin and the Dodge 1500 EREV)
Nah, that's the "engine in check" light.
The transmission moved its knight to threaten the engine's queen , leaving the engine's king in a discovered check.
Things just ain't lookin' good for the engine!
😜
Actually, no.
Fords didn't have shift levers until the 1928 Model A.
On the Model T (and I believe it's predecessors), the left pedal was the clutch (but not as we think of it today!).
Up (no foot) was high, half down was neutral, and down was low (it was a two speed).
Reverse was engaged...
I could be wrong, but I believe that the reason for this is that in a collision, a locked door has one more bit stopping the door from opening than an unlocked door.
If this is correct, there is no way that a manufacturer would leave a way to turn it off, as it would be a massive liability...
Loser has to drink the bad beer?
🤔
I've never had a Walmart television last less than four days . . .
(and returning it was a nightmare--they'd slapped a different brand on it for Black Friday only, and wanted to charge me for the "upgrade" to the identical unit. Eventually a manager made...
that's a lot of watching for what appears to be a short paragraph's worth of information . . .
then again, I hate videos in general, as they're usually downright painful to watch.
That was the thing.
It had nothing to do with any actual horse.
It did give higher numbers than he would have been able to claim from an actual equine.
I think it let him buy a lot of scotch with the profits!
Let's not rush to that conclusion.
What angle was the hail coming down? If it was from behind, it could hav hit the back end of the maverick, and we all now where that leads!
:teehee:
