Got mine 7 months and about 7000 miles ago. No problems, except very slightly grabby brakes. I'm loving it!
But I get where you are at. I had a lemon of a first year model VW Tiguan that was in the shop at 1,000 and 2,000 miles after leaving me stranded (once on a city street in rush hour)...
I've been wondering about a meet-up, too. Its getting to be the perfect weather. But my schedule is also so crazy, I don't know if I'd be able to attend.
5 Star Ford in Richardson, TX was great to me. Easy process, no "required" dealer add-ons, MSRP. I've heard the other 5 Star locations in the Dallas area were good as well.
Also live in North Texas and I've seen one at the restaurant in our neighborhood, so 200 yards from my house. Plus have seen at least 2 within 2 miles of my home. I see at least one a month now as I'm driving around town.
I had an issue once with a dealer trying a true game of "bait and switch" on me (Texas). You would be amazed at how fast their story changed when I let them know I had started an inquiry through our state's Attorney General office. It might be worth seeing who oversees the car dealer laws in...
I get this from time to time. Do a hard reset of the infotainment system by holding down the radio's power button and Seek button until the screen goes black. It will come back up and the sound will work again.
The BIGGEST issue with a lot of new cars is that auto manufacturers don't realize...
Great praise for the little truck.
Hahahaha: The 2022 sold out in record time and the 2023 looks to do the same. Should have said the 2023 is also already sold out...
Bags of groceries that have delicate items in there, or my purse (I don't have a particularly heavy one). If I put my purse on the seat next to me, sometimes it tips over and spills the contents or ends up on the floor in hard braking. Or even face masks and other things could hang on it.
My...
A purse/grocery bag hook that would fit into the dashboard cubby. I picture it being box shaped and slide all the way back into the cubby, with a hook on the front that can support a reasonably weighted purse or a bag of groceries (not a 25lb purse or bag full of canned food, lol). Maybe the...
This! I've seen maybe 10 Mavericks in parking lots and in traffic and none of them seem to have seen me.
I've had 2 people stop my in my office's parking garage, and one person shout out to me from another car at a stoplight. I've had mine since late July.
December and January get quite busy for me, but I'd go to an event either month if I'm open. I picked January as my choice, just because it is less busy for most.
My local Toll Road authority doesn't list the Maverick yet as of August. So my Maverick is an "other". Probably will be forever because I can't be bothered to go in a check to see if they've updated their system
