I have had 0 problems. The brakes are poorly programmed and they should do a software update to better manage low speed braking, but I have not had a single problem with the truck. Fingers crossed that the later hybrids don't have the wiring harness issue.

Not quite - the gas engine in the Maverick drives (propels) the wheels. In a true self-charging EV, the gas engine is only used to charge the battery and all propulsion is powered by the battery.
