Thanks for confirming.. makes me feel a tad better.
I'd really like to see a manual or specs on this thing so I know what I actually bought and what the difference is to the prior version. As far as I can tell, no part of my system is actually B&O so far 😂 I understand Harman is the parent...
Do you have the part number for your B&O amp pictured here? Mine is completely different? Harman branded, but not B&O like yours and completely different "fins" or lack thereof on mine...
It's just crazy how far off the marketing materials are from what was actually sold to me.
Would really like to know the exact RMS wattage being sent to each channel, particularly to the paper 6x9" "sub".
Is there a spec sheet for the amp anywhere?
It might help with clearance! But it's really just stuffing that is being pushed up against. I can't imagine it making a huge difference with bass and my seat closes correctly 🤷♂️
Edit: Interesting differences here vs the Dayton
I swapped in the Dayton 6.5" sub with one of the spacers that I linked earlier. It's a bit different because the spacer is sitting on top of the whole thing instead of flush inside the little "box" and I needed to find 4 screws with the same threading but longer (luckily I had 4 that matched...
The unit I got was LJ6T-18C612-GD and while it lit up and displayed the temperature properly as well as changing the temperature on the main display, it did not actually turn on climate control, heated seats lights wouldn't light up etc.. Any idea on what I might need to do to get this working...
You don't want to turn it off and it's normal. Possibly if you put your foot on the brakes or gas it'll go back to normal operation. On the hybrids it's called Grade Assist, apparently you can disable this in the settings if you really want to.
See...
This is it, I was worried about that too. From what I understood it can only recharge the battery so much and depending on that the actual engine braking will kick in sooner or more intensely.
Think those are for the part that potentially leans up against your cab when it's fully folded up to soften the impact.
I'm curious if draining out the front corners is okay also. I did the same.
Thanks for this post, very nice approach!
I basically paid the premium for a Lariat specifically for the upgraded sound system (the other stuff on the Lariat is nice don't get me wrong) and was expecting a lot more.. It feels like a lot of pressure on my ears while not being loud at the same...
