Thanks, would the spray in have filled in the threads or I was hoping once I found the holes, I could just dig around a bit and start screwing in the bolts. I got some M8 x 25mm that I had read somewhere else should work?
I thought I had a big brain moment and tried out plugging up the hole for the infinite baffle at the back of the enclosure with sound deadener. My rough calculation is the little enclosure is ~0.2^3 ft. Not sure if it sounded better as I was getting a lot of rattling from something, maybe...
Hey everyone, I'm interested in adding some D rings but realizing now that when they sprayed in my bedliner they covered up the holes. Anyone able to help me out with maybe measurements I can use to get to them? Should I just use an awl or screwdriver to punch through the liner when I find them?
I'm assuming an upgraded sealed box or ported into the cab will definitely help. There's plenty of bass escaping to the outside through that open port the stock enclosure is connected to at the back of the cab.
That being said, I believe it does make a difference just swapping out the sub alone...
Couldn't sleep so decided to finish up my speaker swaps. This Metra 82-FD1 adapter kit included both 6.5 to 6.75 adapter and the correct wiring harness adapter.
I found a set of new Morel Maximo 6 MKII on ebay for ~$95. Slightly different than the original Maximo 6 set with a different...
Thank you! Got it all working with a vLinker bluetooth adapter. Not sure I am backing up my codes correctly but I did download the "As Built" configuration and Forscan said I needed an internet connection for it, so I'm assuming it gets it from Ford somehow and backs it up on that computer?
Got Forscan and this bluetooth adapter Vgate vLinker FD+ and added:
Climate control display swap from an ICE Escape LJ6T-18C612-GD
Disabled double honk on exit
Remote windows open/close
Traffic sign recognition enabled (need to road test it still)
Swapping out the two buttons was easy...
Cool, open and close working here! Go team :)
Open windows: Short press then long press (3s+) unlock on fob
Close windows: Long press (3s+) lock on fob
It does look nice and it gets foggy up in the mountains, or am I in the clouds?
They'd just be the first non-reversible mod for me, so not sure just yet.
Thank you, somehow missed your reply. I gotta get a cable for this. I assume a cheap bluetooth odb 2 adapter isn't good enough for the job? And Forscan reprogramming will hopefully avoid the issue with gas vs hybrid?
