Does it to me on the first stop on a cold day. (usually)
Looks to be "normal" by all the posts here.
I certainly won't take it in for service because they will NOT find it, and even if they did it won't get fixed.....guaranteed.
There could be an update to bump the idle when cold or something...
I would put a tamper proof torx bolt in it. Not likely a thief would carry that. They would just move on.
But with a locking tailgate I wouldn't sweat it either way.
Deterrence is the key.
Yes, it seems nowadays you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't. Even if it's not your fault they might ding you.
This is why I have large deductibles, because I don't want to turn anything in that is fairly cheap to fix. Any small dent will jack your rates way up.
Like we can believe a Ford rep?? ahaha
I would only believe the engineer that wrote the program for the monitor. IF he was a good friend.
But seriously, I would bet they go by an average the ICE is on in any given miles. But I'm sure it would be just as easy to go by 1 year and ICE running.
I...
I'm pretty sure this is caused by
Engine control system has detected that the exhaust gas recirculation system flow was higher than expected for operating cond.
Sorry, I just had to.....
Remove that stupid pop up that tells me my seat belt is fastened and I must hit Ok to clear it.
I know it goes away in a bit but still, I F'ing know my belt is on, I put it on all by myself.
Programmers are weird. "look!, I made it make you push ok! cool huh!?"
For me it was the bed size and hybrid that sold the Maverick.
I wish Chevy made a hybrid Colorado, I would have bought it.
Heck a hybrid Tacoma would be nice too. :)
I do love this little truck though. I hope it lasts a few years 'till I want a new one.
oh and also, it looks to be a small screw. I bet there is a good chance it didn't go all the way through. spray some soapy water on it and if it doesn't leak remove it.
That is a close call for a patch. It's close to the edge and It would be a 50/50 shot at a shop patching it.
I used to plug tires all the time when I was a kid at a gas station. Didn't matter where the hole was..lol.
But now I take it to America's tire and let them patch it. If they won't I'll...
I think I would just pay very close attention to the steering, the smoothness. If it steers well I would probably not do anything about it.....unless it got real bad.
oh ya and CV axles. If it's a clicking sound on sharp turns that is very likely it.
you should take it in, you could have a bad battery.
Some people have this issue and some don't. I don't btw.
I take that back, I did have a battery drain problem but it was caused by an alarm system that was installed by the dealer. After it was disconnected no problems.
So, there can be a...
I put a piece of gorilla tape over the bottom of my speaker, made it quieter. I think I'll put one more piece on when I do my first oil change too.
Stupid thing is too loud without it.
This way there are no real modes that could possibly hurt the module.
And by the way it sounds like a dump...
