You ran cable to the battery under the hood from the neg of the amp? Don't do that. Ground it close to the amp. I know it's heavy gauge but still it's a long run of cable that is not necessary. Basically it's like running what you have double the length.
So is it actually blowing fuses...
Well....
I installed the amp and ran it off of the B and O sub into the high inputs. It does turn on by itself so thats good.
But..... I doesn't work, it does zero the the new sub. I was thinking maybe it doesn't like that input and wants full spectrum. But... I've read on here the other...
Thanks, I found a thread that shows those 90 deg types will work on 3 or 6. I ordered that.
I searched and couldn't find a fuse tap like you described. I would think as long as solder sticks one could make one easy enough.
This shows the 90 deg types installed...
I don't mind if the amp turns off with the truck. So fuse 1 is a good choice? What does it run?
Can you give me an amazon link to the fuse tap you like?
I've got a 23 with B and O sound. I'm wanting a good place for an amp turn on. I'm guessing the amp in the back for the stock sub will have one?
What have you guys used for remote turn on?
Is there a good fuse in the cab to tap?
Seeing 15.1V when running tells me the battery was bad. The truck was trying to charge it without it happening.
I had the deep sleep/dead battery problem when mine was new, it turned out to be the cheap alarm the dealer put on it as an upsell. Once disconnected no problems since. Even with the...
I would not worry one bit about the engine, idling is easy on it. I would however worry a little about the built in inverter. The duty cycle on it could be limited but who really knows...right. I think it would be best to buy a good quality, much higher wattage than needed inverter and just...
On my 23 Lariat hybrid the Nav map will be correct when started then it will follow me but then move like it's going 100mph. It gets way off track right away.
I have tried the reset by holding the power and forward button and it didn't help.
I don't know when it started but I'm thinking maybe...
Yes, the compressor is pretty noisey. I don't know why but I think it is normal. It could be because it's a scroll type and it's electric. Just like one on your house if it's a newer, efficient system.
The AC works perfectly and it's been well over 100* here.
The fan is loud too but it does...
