Don't worry, everyone who wants to order a 2024 will have to use the 2023 Build and Price because the 2024 order banks will be closed before the 2024 Build and Price is up. :ROFLMAO:
I want a truck because of the utility of the bed. I don't need a huge truck because I won't be using it for work, just household type stuff. Therefore, I see no reason to pay what full-size trucks cost. The Maverick really checks all the boxes, small, usable bed, reasonably priced, etc...
I put in multiple orders for 2022 because of these reasons. I just didn't feel confident that the local dealer, where I ordered my 1st Maverick, would do ROVP/COVP right and/or get an allocation for the vehicle. I ordered it before I knew about any of those things, then discovered the forum...
Or if the situation changes and Ford decides to open order banks again later in the year.
Tim has still managed to get this video done before Ford has been able to update the build and price. Impressive since Ford has known for months (presumably) what the changes for the 2023 would be and Tim...
I used to live in Kansas City, MO. Between driving back to NC and VA to visit family and then driving back to MO since moving back here I go through East St. Louis an average of 1-2 times a year. I always make sure I have enough gas to get through all of St. Louis metro without stopping. I...
You are definitely in the minority there. For me:
1/18 -Thanks for your Order email
6/29- Your order is delayed email, canned, no actual information
8/19- Your order is delayed email, canned, no actual information
9/9- Your order is scheduled email
9/29- Your order's production has been...
Check your truck completely when it arrives. After spending time in East St. Louis it is likely to arrive with a serious drug problem, several outstanding warrants, and some past due child support.
I get that, but it still means that removing "constraints" is just a stab in the dark. One's truck might be in that group of 10 or it might be 11. If it is in the ten then all the constraints don't matter. One is just as likely to miss out on production because Ford was building trucks with a...
Wow, that is quite a wait! Congratulations!
My AWD EB XLT is finally built, 255 days from the day I ordered and that felt like forever. Hopefully I will have it before Thanksgiving.
Lets not count on that. I have two 2022 orders. Both ordered after January 15th, one has CP360 & Luxury Package both of which are supposed to have been constrained. The other has neither CP360 or the luxury package. Guess which one is built?
Yep, the truck with the constraints is built, the...
I'm sorry OP, I don't think anyone mentioned that you have to wait...
I ordered my 2022 on 1/18/2022. Yesterday I made it to this:
Now I just have to, you guessed it, wait for it to make it to North Carolina. Hopefully that will be before Thanksgiving. 255 days, 8 1/2 months, from order...
Yeah, that is especially amusing since they claim production is delayed and they are trying to get it going. The 45 day contact implies that they don't think they will be able to get it scheduled anytime soon. :ROFLMAO:
I got this generic "We are sorry email" about my 2022 EB XLT order that has shown "in production" for a couple of weeks now late this afternoon:
Knowing that said order was already showing "in production" (I checked again this afternoon before the email arrived) I decided to check again when...
The Maverick I ordered first (and locally) before I discovered this forum has been "In Production" for more than 2 weeks and modules have been "alive" for about a week and it still isn't finished apparently. At least I am pretty confident it will get delivered as a 2022 probably before December...
I'm wondering, if I want a Bronco 4-door with a hard top and manual transmission to replace the Maverick Tremor I hope to get sometime in 2023, should I go ahead and order it now so I might get scheduled by 2025 or 2026? :ROFLMAO:
Only half joking...
