I have three wildly different alternatives:
1- Ford F150. Place order and wait on that instead. I'm not willing to pay the $50k plus most in stock F150s are going for, but if one is cautious with option box checks and places an order with a reasonable dealer, it is possible to get a XLT in...
Congratulations, be sure and let us know how you like it when you make it back home!
I've got two on order, both are AWD XLTs, one of the two is Carbonized Gray the other Alto Blue. I'm not really sure which I am hoping comes first. Anyway, I think you got a good color.

I have read all of this (I have no idea why). I would not pay $6k markup for a Maverick. However, what I would do isn't material because my circumstances are different than yours. I don't need any vehicle for 4-6 months. I would like to get one before that, but I don't have any...
That is because there was a bug that was showing the Luxury package as $0 and it is actually $2500.
Also, FWIW, you can't order a hybrid until August for the 2023 model year. If you want a 2022 you have to order a EcoBoost and do it before 9pm Eastern on Thursday of this week.
I've actually ordered two now, one at my local dealer, one through Granger. There is a chance I will take both, that depends on what new vehicle prices are doing when these trucks get built. If they are still crazy I might take both and then see if I can flip one. If not, I'll take the one...
I sold my 2018 Kia Sorento LX 2.4 FWD to Carvana in November 2021 for $25,300. I paid $24,500 for it new. Vroom offered me $23,000. I didn't check elsewhere as Carvana's offer was better than trade in and private party sale at the time (who knows what it is now).
I sold my 2005 Dodge Dakota...
Yes, but that isn't the end of the story. There is a second system the dealer has to put the order into to give it any chance of actually being scheduled.
I have been assured that has happened. I'm placing another order at a different dealer before Thursday just to be sure, but my dealer does...
Or, what is probably also equally as likely: they failed to order the truck properly before the deadline (because they were confused or lazy) and now they can't order it until August 2022 as a 2023 model. They don't want to tell you that, so they came up with the BS they told you.
I sent my original email middle of last week. I got one reply with an order sheet, then nothing after that. Zach replied yesterday (I forwarded him the email) that they would get me set up. Hopefully even if they close to new customers tonight those of us already in the "pipeline" will get...
Zach responded to my last email yesterday and told me that they would get me scheduled, but so far I haven't heard anything today. Hoping it gets sorted out today since they are cutting off ordering.
I decided shortly after placing my order last week to drop the luxury package. It has a lot of great content but I really don't care that much about any of it and I felt like I was optioning my way into a vehicle more expensive than the Maverick's sweet spot. Hopefully that decision will...
I'm playing the email waiting game on getting my order in with Granger. They have responded but I haven't DocuSigned anything yet. I'm sure this announcement is not going to make their lives any easier for the next couple of days.
According to the video just posted by Long MacArthur the email from Ford does not mean that. The ROVP is a separate process. I would check with your dealer to be sure they got approval through the ROVP process based on what Tim said.
Thanks for posting this. I just reached out to my local dealer to make sure I am approved in ROVP, I don't want to miss out. I just submitted my order last week so assuming my dealer got/gets me into ROVP I will come in under the wire.
I took my wife's year old Kia Soul into the dealer for service at the end of December. It only has 6k miles on it because we really don't drive it that much. They tried to get me to trade it in or sell it to them. I didn't bite but it is hard to walk away from making money on a used car.

You can join the Virginia Farm Bureau online. Once you do and have 30 days in you can get the certificate either through the Ford website or, I believe, the Virginia Farm Bureau Website.
