I've got a Maverick bed extender sitting in a box in my spare bedroom waiting for a Maverick to install it in. I got it during one of the 20% off sales. I'll be picking up ASAP.
I did the same. I also wanted to support Tim because of his extensive video content and fantastic information sharing. I'm sure LM isn't making much off my 2023 Tremor order (assuming it is delivered) but that hasn't stopped them from being extremely responsive and helpful.
I'm not married to Ford. I have owned a couple but it was more because at the time I needed a vehicle they were available and the right price. Most of my vehicles have been Toyota, Mazda, and Kia. I ordered a Maverick because it offered something no one else was offering, truck utility with...
I got the official Ford email today notifying me that my Granger order is scheduled for 10/24. I'm in the 107,000 VIN range. My local order is in the 111,000 VIN range and is currently in production with modules active.
I just got the official "You're Scheduled" email from Ford for my Granger order. Now showing week of 10/24. So, I have been 10/10, 10/17 (both info from Ford Chat) and now 10/24 (Ford email). Perhaps I am getting there.
Definitely not Avalanche Gray. If I had been required to order Avalanche Gray I wouldn't have ordered a Tremor. It is too close to white for my taste and I cannot stand white cars.
Atlas Blue:
Sure, the dealer can set it anywhere between 19 and 10 and change it at will. Ford can drop it below 10, usually it goes to 2 when they are looking at it for production.
I am no expert, but this is my prediction:
While the used car market in general may decline I don't expect the Maverick to do so nearly as much. They are still scarce and it is now impossible to order one again for a year. At some point there will be enough Mavericks around for values to even...
I didn't order one. I will probably have Long McArthur do one for me when (if) the truck arrives. I also want to do the bed extender but I didn't order either just to avoid additional delays.
Sometimes it is hard to understand what words mean. You absolutely do not have to go TO a dealership to place an order. You absolutely do have to go Through a dealership to place an order. My order was done entirely online/over the phone with Long McArthur Ford (which is about 1300 miles from...
I changed my order from a Lariat Hybrid to a XLT Tremor on 9/21. That was after hybrid ordering closed but before EB ordering closed so I don't know that would be possible now.
Long McArthur changed my hybrid Lariat order (placed 9/18) to an EB XLT Tremor yesterday at my request. At that time the order banks for hybrids were closed and the order banks for EBs were open. I don't know if that was the reason it was allowed or not. Had it not taken that way I would have...
Good question. My local dealer has had my deposit on my January 2022 order for over eight months and never offered a refund. For most of that time it didn't look like the truck would ever get selected. Then it went from Priority 19 - Priority 2 - VIN/Production Week of 11/7 - Production Week...
I wonder what percentage of orders of the Ecoboosts were with the Tremor package? The only reason I ordered an EB again for 2023 was the Tremor. Otherwise I would have (and originally did) ordered a hybrid. Of course I am in the position have having a 2022 EB Maverick in production, if the...
I'm in the same basic boat. Our current vehicle is a hybrid, I don't drive much, and consequently I won't save that much on a hybrid Maverick vs. an EB. Plus, I really wanted the Tremor (despite not actually needing it).
Luckily, I had a previous order with LM that got rolled over so my 2023...
