I just tried to check with Ford chat to see if there are any changes to my build week of 10/31 but apparently Ford Chat is too busy and I need to try back later.
Has anyone with a scheduled EcoBoost gotten bumped to December? I know the memo from Ford said it was happening to hybrids only but what Ford memos say and what Ford actually does have a history of being significantly different.
My pretty simple build, XLT AWD EB with FX4 and 4k Tow has been pushed back 3 times. It is currently scheduled for 10/31, originally scheduled for 10/10. Then it went to 10/17, then 10/24, and now 10/31.
I have two 2022 orders, both ordered in January less than a week apart. The results:
-Order #1, CP360, Luxury Package, FX4, rubber floor mats, built and on the train as we speak.
-Order #2, FX4 and 4k Tow, pushed back three times, currently scheduled for 10/31.
My belief is that it is the 4k...
Perhaps, but that is a grand total of two options from the whole list and none of them were supposedly constraints, no CP360, no lux, no bed accessories, etc.
I'm bumped back also, started at 10/10, then 10/17, then 10/24, and now 10/31. I have a pretty basic order, XLT EB w/ FX4 & 4k Tow. I'm still thinking it might be the 4k Tow causing the issue.
I used to live in Kansas City and the drive from where I live now in North Carolina to Kansas City was about 17 hours. Looking at directions it looks like Granger to my home in NC will take about the same amount of time.
I'm probably going to pick the truck up and drive down to KC to see my...
I'm going to be really surprised if they manage to get all the 2022 VIN s built by 12/31/2022 with so many dates being pushed back.
I'm waiting on a 2023 but my 2022 should be here in a few weeks so I don't mind so much. I really feel sorry for folks that have been waiting longer than I have...
My 2022 order was a XLT EB. I originally ordered a Lariat Hybrid for 2023 but changed it to a Tremor on 9/21. According to what Tim said last night my Tremor is one of the 5 they have previewing. So, I'm hoping to get scheduled. We will see soon.
The FX4 description for the 2023 now says "Off-Road Screen" instead of specifying a 6.5" screen. So, who knows? I expect we will see the 6.5" screen on the XLT Tremor but who really knows until the first ones are delivered. Hell, what are the chances that Ford knows?
I just got the "We are sorry-we know this is frustrating" email for my Granger order. That might actually be a good sign because every time I get one of those emails there is some kind of progress with my order that the email implied there would not be.
