  1. @FordMotorCo, what happened to the plan to prioritize the older, outstanding orders?

The dealer was supposed to cancel the 24 if the 23 was scheduled. Looks like it is too late now...that one customer will have both built. The dealer probably isn't too worried. The other will sell! (But hopefully that dealer isn't short on allocation for retail orders for the year!)
  2. Was my Maverick sold out from under me despite my order?

At least you know now! I don't know if there is much that can be done. They certainly owe you your $500 back! And interest on that?? .....they obviously didn't put any effort in trying to contact you.
  3. Was my Maverick sold out from under me despite my order?

I'm sorry, I hate to be the bearer of bad news. But it looks like it was sold to someone else a month ago. The warranty start date shows as 21-July-2023. It has over 400 miles on it now. It was sold by Long-Lewis of Hoover.
  4. No Crank No Start - Is this 22B39 or Something Else?

Does your Maverick have 22B39 open? That is applicable on Mavericks built through May 13th, 2022.
  5. Was my Maverick sold out from under me despite my order?

It might still be in transit....but crickets from the dealership is concerning. If you send me a mssg w/ your VIN I might be able to get some info for you.
  6. Rollover Allocations; Can anyone clarify them?

Yes, that is exactly right. I do expect that allocation will be, well allocated, with rollovers in mind (since Ford does want to get these prioritized), but there will certainly be new 24 orders (and possibly stock orders) built before all of the rollovers are built. I do think that most...
  7. Recall experience with dealer; anyone else told this?

It really depends on the recall. For some, Ford sends "seed stock" to dealers. Sometimes parts are on "open order". Sometimes there are special procedures that you need to go through to order parts VIN-specifically when they are very limited. Remember, dealers do have to pay for the parts. So...
  8. New Maverick just got Delivered and trading in the MY22 one:

What is that dealership selling new Mavericks for? What are they selling used Mavericks for?
  9. Rollover Allocations; Can anyone clarify them?

That is true. Allocation will still be needed in order for an order to be considered for scheduling. Ford hasn't told dealers how the # of rollover orders that they have will impact the timing of allocation. Allocation will probably be spreadout over the allocation cycle. Timing will probably...
  10. Who cancelled my order?

You should be able to get D-plan from your grandson-in-law (if he has some left to give) - that will save you more than X-plan!
  11. Private Offer

There are certain private offers that are not applicable to Mavericks. Ford marketing just sees that you have a certificate, but does not see the details. Do you have a "program number" for the private offer. I could quickly check and tell you whether or not Maverick is included in that...
  12. Eligible for X-Plan, 2 Mavericks in shipping

Participation in X-plan is optional for dealers. They don't have to accept X-plan pricing. Participating dealerships agree to comply with all of the terms outlined in this document, including the Red Carpet Lease provisions. Authorized Ford and Lincoln dealerships are encouraged, but not...
  13. Priority code changed

3 is the lowest (i.e. best) priority a dealer can assign. Rollover orders should have been "upped" to 2 by now though. Only Ford can do that.
  14. 2024 Maverick Orders Now Being Prioritized - Contact Ford Chat to check

All of our dealership's rollover orders were switched to priority 02 by this morning (And Aug 14th was the date Ford said they'd be doing that). If anyone has a rollover that hasn't been updated to 02, it probably means something isn't right (most likely order numbers don't match??)
  15. Dealer still confident I will get a 2023

Does your dealer still have allocation left to fill for 23? Typo?? Are you scheduled or unscheduled? My dealership is still confident that both of my scheduled Mavericks will be produced in 2023 (already have the 2024's ordered with color changes). Why would he be so confident? Neither are...
  16. Ford Retail Order Rate Lock APR Private Offer

It isn't a discount, it is set sale price (based on invoice price). It is listed on the vehicle invoice.
  17. Ford Retail Order Rate Lock APR Private Offer

2.9% for 60 months (for credit tier 0-2), but only on certain vehicles: Mustang, Escape, Edge, Explorer, Bronco Sport, Ranger, Expedition, F-150 (w/ some restrictions), & Transit Connect. So no Maverick, MachE, or SuperDuty.
  18. Ford Retail Order Rate Lock APR Private Offer

Do you have a program number? I could check? I'm fairly certain that rate lock APR offer doesn't include Maverick. But if you get a program #, I could confirm.
  19. Dealer added packages I didnt order

Ahh ok. I messed around on WBDO making a 23 stock order trying to recreate your situation and nothing "funny" happened.
  20. Dealer added packages I didnt order

Yes, you could. But I don't think many were ordered that way! Did your XLT include Lux Pkg? It is possible that some options were "automatically" selected based on what the original order was? I do work at a Ford dealership and use WBDO. I can't recall an exact parallel to this...but I do...
