I honestly never heard of a catch can causing damage.... an intake without a tune has more potential of causing damage than a catch can... because all it is is circulation of crankcase pressure from crankcase to intake
Almost everyone i speak to that have installed lasfit still or will have hyperblink and they also prevent hyperblink detection because of the integrated resistor... so point here being, the forscan methode is cheaper and works 100% of the time IF the option is available for the maverick
I re read my reply and i did sound a bit like a dick, sorry about that! I don't want to add a resistor because i do not want to modify the wiring on my truck and i also asked this here because there are no info available on the maverick about if it's been done or not but i know for a fact that...
Yes, thats exactly what i'm asking about! I wanted to know if there's a know option for it in forscan because i have seen it for the f-150s and mustangs.... just not home to check it!
Anyone know if you can disable hyperflash on the maverick? I know it's been done on other models. I want to try fitting 7444NA front switchbacks instead of the 4257, don't feel like spending 80$ cad for the lasfit!
Heres another update for ya.... ford sent it back to rhino for them to buff out the scratches.... i wash my truck today and heres what i'm let with.... as a professional detailer, i'm flabbergasted that they even let this shit leave their shop... its like this on both sides and the top
I had that happen with a multitudes of vehicles, usually happened when my fob battery was dying, try replacing the battery before bringing the truck to the dealer!
I doubt that... every 0-60 posted shows hybrid to be slower!
Specialy when you see the power figures
162 hp/155lb.-ft vs 250hp/277lb.-ft and the xl EB is 100 pounds lighter than the hybrid...I think its just the feels of it not shifting that make it seem faster
Depends on the source i guess, car and driver states 6.3 focus st 2018 and 5.9 EB mav
Anyways you get my point, thing is fast and with a bit of tuning, coulb be faster too
I'm not comapring it to "slower trucks" i'm comparing it to every single other utes available on the american market right now...
Its also quicker than a fiesta st and a focus st
Its also quicker than all of the base/1500 pickups out there
Its also the same 0/60 than a alfa romeo quadrifoglio...
I'd if you compare 0/60 of all the american utes....
Maverick stands 1st at 5.9
Santa cruz at 6
Colorado z71 6.1
Ridgeline 6.2
2.3 eco ranger 7.0
Tacoma 7.7
4.0 ranger 8
I recon the maverick is pretty fast
Did you find out what was causing that? I noticed that mine was doing that tonight after comming back from work. And i also made sure that my hvac wasnt set on any A/C active modes...
Pretty sure its a fresh truck as it went in fabrication when i ordered it and also, i'm pretty sure its too deep for a buff but i think a partial paint correction would do the trick as it only seems to have affected the clear or paint surface, used to do these alot! Amd yeah, i used to have a 90...
Yeah, 2nd week i had it, i had to take it in because the trailer brake module is acting weird, truck was there fir a week and the issue is still unresolved... then the bed liner now this.... i'm not mad at the dealer because the trailer brake issue is a ford canada wide issue and the bedliner...
