The Tremor has lots options to choose from. The key is knowing the terrain you're on and how much experience you have on the sand. Any individual can get stuck and bogged down in the sand especially after a few weeks with no rain. Just try to drive in this crap. LOL
In those conditions where it's flat I just usually keep my Tremor in normal mode and have both lock buttons activated and traction control off. I don't particularly like keeping my engine revving that high unless coming to challenging high sand dunes. The transmission will shift accordingly due...
The lights are sold as orange. I picked the light strip on E bay. I connected the current line + to the lower right side marker lamp. There will be no serious draw to that circuit as the lights draw very little current. The light bar is mounted to the top edge of the hood making it appear the...
I have a battery in the corner of the bed that is strapped down in place. I have a 5 Amp maintenance charger attached to the side of the bed and is plugged in to the Ford inverter outlet and the leads from the charger is connected to my Aux battery. I have a second more powerful inverter...
I use it for a back up battery charger for an auxiliary battery while I am driving. It's for my second inverter that powers my air compressor and other equipment.
I'm not sure what you mean. All all wheel drives come with intelligent all-wheel. The Tremor also has a locking diff and a 4 wheel lock button that the others don't have
As a Tremor owner and one who has put it to the test on sand and snow I say you will have an an advantage over the standard Maverick or FX4 because the Tremor will have a four wheel lock and locking diff. I didn't purchase mine for towing so The FX 4 has that advantage.
Drive your vehicle easy in the mean time. The only thing that will go bad will be the axle joint especially if it's on the drivers side. And it would be likely give you plenty of warning and make a lot of noise before it would separate. Having a Tremor I hope that I will get more miles at of my...
You have a right to be aggravated however let them change the other axle when they get a chance and see what happens with the performance of your vehicle after that maybe your luck will change and everything will workout.
The difference between the two tires 225- 245 is 1" in height. At 60 MPH you would really be doin 62.15. I would not bother to change anything with forscan unless you know what you are doing.
This is a very subjective topic as I only know one individual that uses Maverick Tremor off road and it's all sand so it's hard to get a good comparison with out more input from other drivers. I have been driving on the beach to fish since I purchased my Tremor. Most individuals just drive there...
I out performed my friends Tremor with his 70s. on the sand I am using Cooper Road + Trail 245/65. You will gain only a 1/2 (13mm) of height. The tire is redesign since Goodyear took over the company. It has a quiet ride and is soft as the Falken's. however a little higher in price. At 65 MPH...
Go with a 245-65 R And you might want to lift the front 1". It's only a 2.0 L I get through tough sand with these size tires there just enough with out bogging down problems. I do use my Tremor for what it was designed for so I tested many options.
