I would have ordered the hybrid originally, had that been an option. We have a 2015 CMAX ENERGI with the same basic hybrid electric 2.5l Atkinson engine and CVT. 105k miles on it, has been a great car. 45mpg combined.
Thanks for the clarification. I did ask for a priority "10" (the order said 19) and Samantha replied "done".
So the major hiccups going forward, as I see them: Granger has maybe 40 allocations per month. Am hoping Ford can actually build these rollover orders quickly. There are only 85ish...
just noticed that the "sales code" and the "order code" stayed the same on the '22 and '23 orders. Maybe this is how Ford knows it is a rollover priority.
very thankful again for Granger! Great people to work with.
My cactus grey '22 EB-XLT-LUX-CP360-Allweather mats-Manual sliding window has been successfully converted into the same order as a hybrid. De-contented LUX package of course, but that content can be added if needed. I get the "full...
I am finding that the "lightly equipped" 22 rollovers are very well covered by the $2750 and $1750 private offers.
It appears that the private offers were skewed higher by AWD/FX4 and Lariat versions. 23 orders for FWD XLT's with the private offer appear to be cheaper.
my build significantly cheaper with the private offer figured. LUX package about $770 less, but the standalones on the DIBL, remote start, locking rails, tie downs = $770.
Private offer $1750 on EB more than compensates for price increase.
I wonder how complete this pricing is...
The Manual sliding rear window not showing. I wonder if it is now standard on CP360?
Also very interesting is the stand alone 8way driver seat for XL and XLT. Have to see details on LUX package now for XLT to see if that is worth it. Main reason I...
I asked my dealer about your findings, and they responded that they have read all Maverick communications from Ford and there is nothing in them saying they have to do something.
Checked again today with Ford Chat. Still no VIN. But they would not tell me the deadline date. Made it sound like it could still get scheduled as a '22. Still up in the air.
Have all the '22 allocations for Granger been spoken for?
The 4k rating requires AWD and has the 7 pin (trailer brake) option.
4K is a fairly low rating, so I'd hazard a guess that the 2k rating is a vehicle limited spec rather than the hitch itself. Likely the same hitch for all.
I'm guessing the LUX package is more constrained than 360. I wonder what the deal is with the LUX, there seem to be a lot of chip trucks getting built now? I need the LUX because of the lumbar, bad back... I will get some use out of the 110volt outlets though. So not going to give it up.
That seems a possibility (retail ordering of 2023's gets closed early). Allowing a free-for-all with large scale ordering will make some dealers and their customers sit a long time due to lack of allocations.
Granger played it smart for the 2023's, given the announced Ford system. They will...
this...
A contradiction that needs to be cleared up. Either a 2022 order is a priority, or it isn't. Tim Bartz said Ford stated that these trucks would be a priority (constraints still applying) which supercedes all new 2023 orders.
per Zach's thinking that he stated in the original post, the allocation formula will be adjusted when the 234 get delivered. So then, 67 + 234 = 301, and 301/12 = 25 allocations per month. So perhaps 3 months to get those 85 truck orders scheduled, probably beginning in December with about 5...
