@AnnieWaits Congrats! I love the cactus grey color. My wife wasn't sure until we saw the truck in the wild, she prefers vehicles that are easily seen for colors.
Maybe the LUX is holding me back for a '22. Either way, I'm good.
Per Ford chat, I am priority 2.
XLT/Lux/360. Jan 26 confirmation.
So one of the "lucky 80" or "unlucky 80" depending on which side of the coin. I'm great either way.
Am still in the running for the 22 more that Granger expects to get scheduled this year.
even if the new allocation system is applied to current rollovers (I doubt it, as that would throw a monkey wrench on the "priority"), there aren't that many trucks left to be built. No one except Ford knows that number.
@skadizzle I would think any new Maverick that is reasonably priced will sell quickly, and at a premium vs the $3k or 3% offers Granger made available. Even 2-3k over MSRP is a big bargain for a buyer.
you misunderstood what I said. There were "regular" 2023 trim specs that came out at the same time as the Tremor announcement. One of the specs shows the XLT as having available ACC.
Per Ford Video Guy, there will be some changes (in a good way, he heard) to the packages. So, this necessitates actually building a new order. The "private offer" may not cover the cost of package increases when there have been upgrades to that package. We will just have to see how this...
I'm EB Lux. With 360. Late January order. It would be great if it snuck in under the wire. Either way, I'm content. It looks like we may be able to add ACC to the 360 package on an XLT for MY'23, that is an addition that I'd really like.
I have a lux package. There are likely some like myself who are just waiting out the process. I don't see a need to stress over it. The whole process keeps evolving.
August was a big month! Getting closer all the time. My order has constraints and was close to the deadline, so likely part of the 80 units that will get carried over.
That makes sense. I suspect many of the remaining trucks are constraint trucks. I've got LUX and 360. Those two constraints, plus the hybrid drivetrain, appear to be the biggies.
Let's hope we all get ours this year. I'm fine with a '22.
'23 ordering bumped to September (no date set yet).
This is good, a more orderly transition as we will know for sure after Aug 18th regarding the status of '22 orders.
Thank you Granger for hanging in there patiently and not participating in the chaos.
I am sure they will be doing orders on August 2nd, like everyone else. Those of us with '22 rollovers have priority codes and we have plenty of time to get in. Have to remember, no '23 trucks will get built until October.
No one is jumping in ahead of anyone else with orders right now. Granger managed to put in a few hundred orders in January, let's give them kudos for being so efficient and productive during a hectic period, short handed to boot.
That's a good thought. I read from Ford Video guy however that the Ford web builder won't be available on Aug 2nd...and it may not be until mid-August before the public can create an order sheet. We are likely to see posted snippets from dealer only accessed info for a couple weeks.
I'm just going to be patient (re August 2nd opening) and see what changes Ford offers on their packages.
Ford Video Guy says the '23 order will reference the '22 order and maintain priority over any new '23 order (constraints excepted). There are at least a couple weeks to get this order in...
The 2013-2017 Ford C-MAX Energi is a PHEV using the same size hybrid Atkinson engine and CVT as the Maverick Hybrid. Basically, Ford didn't have to do much retooling. Traction battery was 6kw and 18-20 all electric miles were typical. Combined, the power train is quite snappy.
Ford Video guy said last night (Thursday June 30th).that there will be no forwarding of current order configurations. The packages will not be identical and there is no way to translate a 22 into a 23.
Thus, a brand new order will be placed, with a "22" order reference to maintain priority...
