  1. 3% Below Invoice on Ford Maverick at Granger Ford

Yes Ford, so please give them significant allocations...more allocations = more happy Ford customers.
  2. Ecoboost 2022 rollovers

Ordered Jan 26th, Cactus Grey, FWD, LUX, CoPilot, sliding back window. Reordered as Hybrid.
  3. 2023 Ford Maverick Ordering - Granger Ford

Ford has gone back and forth on how they are giving out vehicles (allocations). When Granger took all the orders last fall with the hybrid, and later into January with the EB, those were vehicles that the Ford system promised to build, allocation or not. Recently Ford has moved back to an...
  4. 2023 Ford Maverick Ordering - Granger Ford

Yes, stock units and local customers should be Granger's bread and butter. Us internet customers would be lower priority as sales allow. I do appreciate how they are honoring the '22 orders they took, it is rare to see such sacrifice and service.
  5. 2023 Ford Maverick Ordering - Granger Ford

It's the road salt that makes the winter bad news. Cars/trucks from the northern midwest are firmly in the "rustbelt".
  6. 2023 Ford Maverick Ordering - Granger Ford

that's good news, 44 allocations a healthy number. The following month should likely be decent due to the late year '22 deliveries? Hopeful.
  7. 2023 Ford Maverick Ordering - Granger Ford

I'm not getting too excited about numbers or queues...Ford still has to build these trucks, they might very well have given more allocations than they can build. EG, why did the 2nd month drop down to 4? Perhaps because they can't build all the first month allocations. I'm thinking late...
  8. Tested: Slippery Mode is best for highest MPG (in Hybrid Maverick)

well yeah...but that's an archaic operation that big rigs etc did to maintain control down a grade, as old drum brakes could overheat and experience serious fade. In modern cars I've never bothered, and especially with EV's and PHEV's it becomes time to rack up the battery miles through regen...
  9. Tested: Slippery Mode is best for highest MPG (in Hybrid Maverick)

so are you saying that when the brake is applied, friction braking rather than regen braking takes over above 70%? That's how my Nissan Leaf EV works above 90%. When I stop accelerating, it simply coasts rather than regen slowing. I thought I read above from a different poster that engine...
  10. Tested: Slippery Mode is best for highest MPG (in Hybrid Maverick)

thanks for posting this. I had no idea that engine braking would be employed when battery capacity was over 70%. So it makes sense that slippery mode would be better above 70%, and probably no difference between slippery and eco below 70%. I have never seen my CMAX ENERGI do engine braking...
  11. Ford can't differentiate a 2022 rollover over from a new 2023 order?

That is often the initial of the sales person. Mine was "K" both times. Did you have a different sales person the 2nd time?
  12. Ford can't differentiate a 2022 rollover over from a new 2023 order?

Tim Bartz has been indicating that Ford will prioritize '22 rollovers over new '23's. But there will also be considerations of constraints and dealer allocations. It's the constant ranting about the process that has created so much angst. Everyone needs to chill out and stop buying and...
  13. '23 granger rollover thread

Not here, I'm not going to bother them. They told me last week "if you qualify for any Ford PCO's that will be applied once your Maverick arrives". There are as many as 85 of these through Granger, the process will be made clear at some point in time.
  14. Ford can't differentiate a 2022 rollover over from a new 2023 order?

what I can contribute is that my Sales Code and Order Code on the '23 order were identical to the '22 order. And that Ford has both those numbers, as I used them with Ford Chat to check '22 status.
  15. ⚙️ Production of 2023 Maverick starts November 14, 2022 (11/14/22)

Point is, we do not know exact amounts for the mythical Maverick PHEV. The current 22 my Escape credit is based on an earlier program. There is also some discussion of income caps too. If the credit actually gets transferred to point of sale, as indicated for 2024, it's not uncommon for...
  16. Hybrid shudder recall

yes, CMAX has this basic setup. Back in the day, there was collaboration between Toyota and Ford on the "Atkinson" engine, which is in Prius drivetrains. My CMAX has a very slight shudder when the engine kicks in (eg certain throttle points) but it is in no way an annoying problem, same basic...
  17. ⚙️ Production of 2023 Maverick starts November 14, 2022 (11/14/22)

Your interpretation is optimistic. It is "up to" $7500. The BEV and PHEV rebates have never been the same, due to their obvious difference in tailpipe emissions. It is going to take a VIN submittal to tell the difference. I have a 2013 Nissan Leaf, and a 2015 Ford CMAX PHEV. The rebates/tax...
  18. ⚙️ Production of 2023 Maverick starts November 14, 2022 (11/14/22)

We think alike on this. But the PHEV tax credit will be smaller than the $7500 BEV credit, perhaps "as much as $4000." Have to wait and see on this. Plus there is language regarding origin of the battery, it could be that the Mav may be excluded if it doesn't meet the 50% North America...
  19. '23 granger rollover thread

Good luck, hope it gets in! Saw a post that Long MacArthur had put in over 600orders since the order bank opened. There should definitely have been a delay between rollovers and brand new orders. I bet there are a ton of new orders placed by dealers that do not have historical sales in 2022...
  20. How is roll over order (to 2023) linked to the special offer?

on my '23 rollover, the sales code and order code were identical to the '22. Ford has those numbers as well since that is how Ford Chat can look up your order status.
