Our 2015 Edge has a left foot rest and my 1980 RX7 had this, as well. I use it in hard right hand turns.
It's usually a 45 degree small flat at the bottom of the kick panel in the driver's floor well.
Does the Maverick (in any trim) have this feature?
I don't know about suspensions either, but I have a question. I would think the top of the shock tower would be a set point (usually welded) but this set appears to be adjustable along a slide.
I'd be worried that the bolts would loosen up and change the angle of the shock. Maybe it's setup...
My Oct 23rd 2021 hybrid order was converted to a MY23 and still we wait.
I'm thinking that if I do get the truck, I'll be able to take it to local car shows next year cause it will be the oddity among all the super nice Cameros, Corvettes, Vickys, Woodys, Avantis, Cobras, Cudas and the like. ...
I had a buck come up out of the ditch and stand at the edge of the road. I braked hard and changed lanes (early morning no traffic) but as I got next to him he attacked the front quarter panel with his rack and eventually slide around the front of the truck as it came to a stop. He ran off and...
If the app shows no service, did the dealer do any of the required prep work before the vehicle is released to the customer?
While it is possible to do the work and not record it in the app, I thought it was required, or at least best practice, to do so.
Hopefully Ford kicks them into gear for you.
A big 'no' for me. China's quality is generally poor and their batteries are really suspect.
If you get one, park it in an asbestos garage (Volvo or no Volvo involvement).
If true, it's interesting because Ford's CEO said they were going to crack down on this and basically said "we know who you are". But apparently, 'crack down' must mean loosen the standard and look the other way.
Heck, maybe the standard before was up to 60% of dealer orders could be...
Got the following email from Ford today. Sorry I couldn't get all of it captured but it looks like the Maverick is not exempted, so I should be able to use it.
Hope they can get my MY22 converted to MY23 order done in time for me to use the Cert.
Maybe they are trying to make up for the other...
Hybrids will have staying power (pardon the pun). Many dealers are having to pay big bucks (millions) to their manufacturer to be able to sell EVs and many others are balking, thinking "I'll sell hybrids and PHEV instead". Backing their decision is many of their customers who are not onboard...
Maybe I'm nuts, but the damage does look like it would 'total' the truck. The Maverick is a unibody, there is no 'frame' to straighten. No frame, no 'body off' way to straighten the damage. It might even take a donor vehicle and some Ian Roussell magic.
I could be wrong. . .
It sounds like your dealer should have taken more of an interest.
Does the door open electronically or do you just push or pull on it?
Wondering if the catch needs to be adjusted so more of it engages the latch (if that is even possible). Maybe the catch is damaged and the latch can't grab...
I would love to get a PHEV Maverick, but not a full EV Maverick. We do a lot of short 'errand' type driving and we have a EV outlet connected to our solar panel/battery system, so we would probably be able to by very little gas for most of our needs. However for longer trips, having the range...
While that color change is not 'rust' it is metal corrosion, or, oxidation.
I installed an electronic rust inhibitor on my 1980 RX7 with good results. I had the car stored for many years so it was not out and about in Iowa winters, so not really a good test.
I don't know if this type of rust...
