He speculated that Ford thought they could not build both the new MY23 orders and the original MY22 orders.
Since his canceled orders had already been assigned a VIN, it's not good news.
I ordered a cactus grey Maverick Lariat hybrid Lux Co-Pilot360 on Oct 23d, 2021 and have gone through the same waiting game and order conversion process as many of you.
My dealer called me earlier today about three customer ordered Mavericks he just got in, two hybrids and an Eco. When he...
Yeah, got the same email. Now they will tell me every 45 days that they can't build my truck which was ordered Oct 23rd, 2021. Even though, it appears new MY23 orders are getting production dates (for the same package as mine).
If Ford wants to move forward with people ordering their vehicles...
That was the first thing I noticed, as well. That cheapy 'fabric' wheel well had better do it's job or Mavericks will be the new poster child for 'rust never sleeps'.
Maybe they are not getting in. Have you brought something into the truck that may have contained a mouse? Like an old box from the garage or a garage sale maybe?
Good for you guys, but our Oct 21 hybrid Lariat order is not picked?
We wait over a year and now new orders get built ahead of ours? Ford verified our order is ready to go, my dealer has our order as his highest priority code but new orders are going first. . . . Ford's pick methodology sucks.
Makes me wonder if the part for this issue had to be changed to a supplier that Ford has less experience with.
I've noticed stuff in stores from vendors I've not heard of before because the store can't get their usual supply. . . the owner is doing the best they can to stock their shelves.
By 'casual glances' do you mean you look in at the meter and the truck is not 'on'? If so, does that mean the meter is on all night and drawing power?
What's the current draw for the meter? Is it possible the loss you see is due to the meter?
Thanks
I'm wondering if the film yellows over time or otherwise changes color. On older vehicles, I've seen something similar and it has changed color. I don't know what brand, or the level of material/application quality though.
I removed this option from my order to speed up my order. . . . it...
I have had Air Lift bags in every truck I have owned and I'd like to add them to the Maverick. I'll be getting a hybrid and Air Lift has finally added the Maverick to it's 'will fit' list. The issue for me is their compatibility list shows the AWD or FWD version. I assume this is the AWD or FWD...
Yeah, and the build app on Ford's site does not show the digital temperature readouts on the climate controls like it does on this guy's 'review'.
I want my click back. . . .
A link to that story would be interesting to follow.
If I had to hunker down in a vehicle to get through a snow storm, I'd rather have a gas vehicle with a full tank than an fully charged EV. Almost nothing drains a battery faster than converting volts to heat. . . With a gas engine, heat is...
My Oct 23rd, 2021 order is still waiting to go into production. It was successfully converted to a MY23 order and we removed some constraints. My dealer tells me my order is his highest priority order and he's confident it will get built, and, Ford says it is waiting for the 2023 builds to...
If it had not been for a chance sighting of a Ford Representative's Maverick on the dealer lot, I would not even have known they existed because Ford ran no ads for it.
Maybe Ford is running ads now to help dealers sell their own orders, or, it's an ad for the financing options more than the...
I have never allowed the dealer to put their sticker on our vehicles. When I bought my 1980 RX7 the dealer said "we need that sticker on your car to know the car came from this dealership, How will we know otherwise"? A veiled threat about warranty work if I ever heard one.
I told him the VIN...
