Despite Jim Farley's or any other vehicle CEO's wishes, requiring your car to be serviced by the dealer runs afoul of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, protecting the right of fair competition in the USA.
It is enforced by the Federal Trade Commission and prohibits automotive dealerships and...
Could be, but I don't recall that scenario, and there may be more than one way.
IIRC, it did the double toot as I was opening the door, not yet in park, but I could be mistaken.
I'll have to try to make it do it...
We'll have to agree to disagree.
Many stock tires are designed to be cheap and get good mileage instead of traction.
They don't equate to all season tires. The Continentals are probably the worst I've ever had.
If you overloaded the tongue weight so you lost traction up front, that could...
Thanks for reminding me that I've yet to hear back from Ford regarding whether or not and if so when they plan on providing the MY26 AWD enhancement to the pre-MY26 AWD models.
As I understand it, the "enhancement" is a software tweak to vector power delivery that allows a single rear wheel to...
Good stuff - My trip to the "local" Post office is about a 12 mile round trip, and I get great mileage doing that as well. 35 to 40 mph, only a few stop signs, no traffic lights and little to no traffic.
Pretty much ideal hybrid conditions.
BTW -Good lookin' dog!
I wonder if (at least in the case of the hybrid) the reason the plug won't "officially" fit might be due to something related to the pressure release.. Maybe not.
Yep..
Maybe if you had paddle shifters and knew your powerband...
With the hybrid you are even more removed from the power transfer, and gear selection is something the bot takes care of...
I missed that, but a tach display isn't an option on the 25MY hybrid I have, as documented in the 25 MY OM, as it gets a power meter instead, noted on page 102.
The tach is noted as part of the display on the 25MY EB on the following page 103.
I had (incorrectly) assumed that was also the case...
Part of the reason for me as well.
You don't need Fort Knox, just make it more trouble than it's worth, and with no visibility to what may be an empty bed, for 99% of any population, it's more trouble than it's worth.
If it's just a soft cover, a pen knife works as a key, but with a...
I'd speculate that the other vehicles didn't have the same rubber.
Tires are where the rubber meets the road, and in a low traction steep incline situation like you describe the stock tires on the XL are useless, so your issue isn't a surprise.
