Yep, besides you never know when you will need to tow, that is the benefit of having a pickup to begin with, the capability. That should carry over to resale value down the road. From what I have seen with the FX4 package on F150's and Rangers is that they similarly tend to hold their value better.
Outside of the certain price increase, the biggest differences I think will be packages offered. There was a bunch of things they could have done with the 22' that they didn't, so well see what they roll-out.
I had an old Dodge Adventurer in H.S. that had been my Dad's. He fixed it up, dropped a 440 in it and put in a new stereo. An 8-track! I asked him why he put that in when nobody had been putting 8-tracks in anything for years and he said it was because he still owned 8-tracks...
That said, if...
Like any insurance platform, it is a hedge against the what if's. Frankly i'd rather have it and never need it. Same for my life insurance policy. My wife's opinion may differ on that.
Congrats OP! That same build would have cost way more out where I am, so I think you did pretty well, all things considered! Hoping my HPR comes in today myself. 9 months and counting...Had mine not shipped i would have taken one with a markup off the lot weeks ago when it was offered.
Will do. I bought my wifes EcoSport from that dealer back on April 1st primarily to start a relationship with them in advance of the Maverick arriving. I financed in the Tax/title and licensing, up until yesterday that had shown as a remaining balance on my order with Military Auto Sales, but it...
I have a weird issue with my wifes Eco that if you have been driving for over 20 or so minutes and stop/get out of the car, the Satellite radio wont work when you start it back up. After it's sat for awhile it will work again. No idea what could cause this but I am less than impressed with Fords...
Probably a wise move, I don't think they can release it back to you if they suspect the gas tank needs to be replaced. You just create a headache for yourself if they can't get you in a loaner.
Some people buy/trade in and out of vehicles so fast I don't get it. But given the Mav had to be ordered sight unseen, it won't be for everybody. Hoping I love mine because I am planning on driving it for quite some time.
I am sitting here chewing my nails, my Maverick is supposed to go through Titus-Will Ford in Tacoma next week to do the dealer prep. I had ordered it from Military Auto Sales while stationed in Vicenza but came back to my old job at Ft Lewis a year early so they had to find a dealer out here to...
Found it, my goodness there are a lot of review sites these days! Somehow I missed the google reviews under the dealer website hit, doh!
The OP's mistake was in telling them they were going to cancel the Ranger "weeks ago". Probably shouldn't have said anything at all. It is a little bit less...
Where are these reviews? I have seen the OP posts on at least three different sites but no company responses. I am wanting to keep a close eye as mine is about to hit their lot and it is not even a vehicle they had any hand in ordering. Has me absolutely terrified until I get the keys and want...
I ordered through military Auto Sales while stationed in Italy. They basically demand payment in order for the vehicle to ship. However mine after the dealer was notified was enroute got a chip hold. As such my loan already had been financed and started in February (it had a 'guaranteed'...
As a dealer they could overpay to put you in a truck to make it right. They could scower far and wide to find one. Just don't take mine! My Lariat FX4 that I already am paying on should be at Titus-Will next week! I bought my wifes Ecosport there mostly because they were going to be the dealer...
There is a behemoth F250 that I wind up parking next to at work with my wifes little EcoSport which looks tiny next to everything, but looks like a toy next to that. I think the Mav will look similarly small in that scenario but maybe not comically so.
Well it is difficult to say what I would change as I haven't taken delivery yet, but I probably would have gone with Area 51, and a base Hybrid. My favored commute is stop and go, which is in that vehicles wheelhouse. Though I use the heated seats in my wifes Ecosport every time I am in it. So...
