I was wondering about that. There are a bunch of posters on here that built 3 or more with the plan to take the first available. Since most dealers didn't take a deposit there was no risk involved. Seems like that could screw over dealers in a hurry. But what happens if the customer just ghosts...
2.0 Lariat Lux, co-pilot, Moonroof, FX4, tonneau tri-fold, 4k tow, HPR, etc. Ordered end of Sep. Was built in Jan then got a chip hold and held up. Finally took delivery this month.
Shady dealer but in this market, I also wouldn't have ghosted on an appointment.
When mine came in I was all over them. Wasn't going to even give them the hint of an opportunity, and that was at a dealer that had just did someone dirty on this very board!
Hopefully more of these get out...
There were plenty of places to turn right off that highway and some within a close distance. It would be reasonable to assume that driver was about to make a right turn off the road. What is not reasonable is that they would slowly amble into the left lane while blocking both lanes of a highway...
This. Like I said before if you watch this a few times it becomes a lot more evident that the accident was not so easy to avoid due to the completely unpredictable behavior of the Jeep. By the point in time when the Mav owner could recognize the situation they were already toast. To all those...
You are reading waaaaay to much into this Lugnut. Your originally premise that Ford is doing this on purpose to punish/put dealers out of business is both a fabrication and libelous.
Forget the Maverick, nobody has any stock, certainly nowhere near what is typical, thatās why the used car...
I wouldnāt say itās a daily occurrence but spot them every week. Iām the 3rd Mav on post. I keep hoping to park near one of them but have yet to time it right.
Iāll admit the first time I watched it the accident looked avoidable, then after a few more times I started to doubt that. The Jeep was totally at fault and created a road hazard. I guess the only part Iād question now which nobody has brought up, was that this part of the road and the illegal...
Seems like some folks think the other guy has inventory. Nobody has any dealer stock. All of the manufacturers are behind trying to get cars built. Heck, the local Ford dealer here pretty much has zero new inventory on anything. The larger dealer in Tacoma that I bought my wifeās car and did...
Maverick, Make it yourself if you want one. Probably too on the nose. Though they probably do need to start stoking demand for the August order books. Early adopters tend to be the most knowledgeable, but that pool will be thinned out pretty quickly.
Added the Stainless Steel MAVERICK letters
from FORD. Hopefully they stay on ok, didn't seem to be a large amount of stickiness to them when I peeled off the 3M backing. Kept in in the garage for a couple of days before applying so hopefully temperature was ok for them to adhere long term.
I...
Also, everyone arguing about the XL vs XLT...You can't order either one of them! Who knows how the configuration breakdown, colors, etc will look like for the 23'.
I love Sirius XM, you get all the NFL games on there too, which is handy if you are a sports nut but compelled to run around on a Sunday.
Don't send that card in though. In exchange for the extra couple of months at $2 you agree to lock in for a specified amount of time at the Sirius full...
Great review and echo's many of my first impressions of mine. I do think the Desert Brown seats looks better with your color than they do with my Hot Pepper Red. I really like the muted blue interior and bronze accents though. Agree that the B&O system is fantastic! I don't know that I would...
