I haven't had to put in gas in the Maverick yet, imagine I am probably running 87 from the dealer. That said I had been running mid grade in my wifes 2.0 non turbo Ecoboost Ecosport. The last time I went to fill up something went glitchy at the gas tank for mid grade and it was showing over $9...
So after many months of waiting (Ordered back in September of 2021) I finally took delivery of my Maverick. Until that day I had never even sat in one and had only seen a couple on the road.
I went a little crazy with my build. At the time I ordered it my 2012 Eco F150 Lariat had been stolen...
I didn't like the way the engine sounded in the videos so was going to get a cover to mute it somewhat, but I can't hear the engine at all in my Lariat Mav, so now I am not going to bother. Glad I didn't already order it. I did put a cover on the touchscreen and the stainless steel letters on...
I agree, based on the reviews I was expecting much more noise. My Lariat Lux FX4 is very quiet. I can't hear any engine noise (Ecoboost) and minimal road noise. I think the Pirellis are probably a really good road tire, they don't look aggressive enough for off road, but they also give a quiet ride.
Mine had 19 miles and a couple of hours run time. Not bad considering it had multiple routes for transport for me to get it. I bought my wifes Eco with 20 miles on it and they had just moved it from one dealer lot to another (about 7 miles) So that car basically had never been driven either...
I figured that is what it was for, but thought it was a little odd since I already have the inverter back there to throw that in. Thanks for confirming!
I mean I figured it out, just wasn’t obvious that you pushed to disengage. I had no idea it had an automatic feature but I haven’t read through the owners manual yet. I still haven’t figured out how to switch the co-pilot on or what the random wire in a bag in the cab is for either, my ownership...
Yep, I’d recommend spray in and cover. As mentioned you can throw pretty much anything in there to protect items (rugs etc) with that setup. I have spray in plus hard tri fold liner. It’s not 100% water proof but close enough. I live where it rains all the time and have had drop ins get loose...
the parking break is hardly intuitive. Used it in my driveway and then took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to disengage. Now I know but there was a moment of panic there…
It’s a little weird. My wife’s Eco has the handle and it feels like this feature should be swapped between the two cars. First two times driving it after driving hers threw me off.
My two biggest takeaways are dogs are everywhere and if we don’t all have the same opinion then prepare to be bashed.
Got mine today, absolutely love the color! I ordered it because it’s my wife’s favorite color and boy does it pop! It sure does go from orange to deep red depending on lighting. Interior doesn’t clash as bad as I thought it would. Really happy I went with this color.
Well I am happy to report I picked up my HPR Lariat FX4 Maverick from Titus-Will today. They were just the middleman for this order but were professional and had everything ready to go. Very happy with the pickup and no issues with the dealer.
Picked mine up today from Titus-Will, despite having my concerns about this especially for this thread, they were professional, did everything right and had it ready to go. They were literally just a middleman for me but no complaints. OP, I hope they get you sorted. It’s a great pickup, hope...
Back in September. Eco, Lariat Lux, FX4. It is there now getting the dealer prep and supposed to be getting the trailer break recall fixed. Mine was on hold in Mexico since late January with the Chip hold. It was basically a complete build except for a random chip that they ran short of. So far...
They have a pretty strong out in that they were contacted by the OP to cancel an order before this ever came in to take delivery. The fact that they said they were working with the OP in the comments and they haven't updated me makes me wonder what they offered? Knocking a few grand off the one...
Yeah, the FX4 gets Mud and ruts, Slippery, Tow Haul, Sand, and Normal modes. No Eco or Sport which kind of stinks. The Sport mode in my wifes Ecosport makes that car pretty fun to drive. Also disables the auto start/stop.
