I'd be interested in what you come up with for a fairing. Everyone who has a GFC says it barely hurts their mileage. Maybe driving with a camper requires a lighter touch. But your driving style sounds a lot like mine.
One thing I prefer on the GFC is the side profile. The hatch panels follow...
Yeah this time of year I have the give the frame a quick wipe with the glove before throwing it on the pad.
I used to take the old T2 pad off between rides, but I plan on keeping this T3 on year round now that I can keep my cover closed.
I actually prefer the way the T2 looks. I still have if anyone wants to buy it.
Mostly the ability to close your bed cover. But they also improved the padding and the buckles are aluminum now.
I've never seen a pad scratch a tailgate but I guess it's not impossible. I could honestly care...
Ugh...I know. I struggle with it everyday because I open the tonneau multiple times a day and I lost the will to fix it every time. Can't wait to replace with with something else.
Just wanted to report in and let all the bike riders know that the newly released tailgate pad from Raceface and Fox will fit our trucks. I have a little bit of adjusting to do but it's pretty much installed. Works with my crappy Ford soft folding bed cover and their install video shows it works...
If what youre saying is you want the divider to go all the way up to the top of the bed, just make it in 2 pieces. Top one slots into the bottom. Doesn't seem like an issue.
My new tires just came in. Not sure if anyone runs these or has even heard of them.

Nice choice, that's a great tire. I respect that you went with something other than the norm (trail terrains, wildpeaks, etc). I took the Pirellis off at 16k. Could stand em.
They have the right to do it, unfortunately. Once your truck is on private property, it's their rules. If I was running a business, it would be my rule too. Wouldn't want one dumb employee to say something stupid and it ends up on the news.
Those of you wanting more information:
The gist of it is the Crosscontact ATR is the winner in terms of data, and subjectively his favorite on test. He does the best tire reviewing in my opinion, and interestingly, some of his findings oppose Tire Racks testing. In the same test, he also...
Nice find. I also wouldn't give up the flexbed capabilities for the panels, but I was really close to ordering the Builtright molle panels to mount a propane tank, shovel, chainsaw, etc. These look like a less robust (and uglier) albeit cheaper option than the Builtrights.
This guy has the best break down on these cams. Looks like the Redtiger is only decent in the day but does pretty well at night, although it cant read plates very well.
