For one bike I'm going tailgate pad. Especially for local rides. The small Dakine is a perfect fit.
For racks, I'll likely go with Billiebars and two 1up bike trays, or a Diamondback cover with the bike trays bolted directly to the cover.
I think hitch racks on trucks are weird unless you're...
That's some good info, thanks. I won't be using the flexbed slots for the boxes. I'll make a "floor" out of plywood, using the tailgate and the wheel well humps to keep it in place, and screw in the Milwaukee baseplates.
Pretty sweet. I plan on adding packouts to my bed too. I think I'll use a sheet of plywood, contour it to the shape of the back half of the bed, and screw their mounting plates to it. 3 drawer and the new cabinet will hold all my mounting biking tools and gear.
I noticed the lack of a full on side view. I bet that rear tire is super close to the corner of the door-side wheel well. That's already an issue with the 2in lifts and it's super ugly.
Yeah I'm with you. Wannabe off-road hybrid, making up his own cheesy fx2 edition, and catus grey does not go with that interior at all. But I guess that's how it goes. Everyone has a vision of their ideal truck, but this is kinda corny in my opinion.
Some good and bad info here. Full size spare doesn't mean matching 5th wheel and tire. It means it's not a donut. Also, the size provided is within 3%, which is the industry standard, of the stock wheel and tire combo rolling diameter. Which means fully inflated outside diameter. And yes, a...
If you guys want this for some underhood bling, thats cool. But please don't say you actually feel a difference. It is 100 percent placebo. There is no discernable flex at the strut towers. The towers are too close to the firewall. Those of you who say it made a big difference on another car...
I figure if you're planning on hauling something tall, you leave the panel at home. If it's unexpected, you could probably put the panel in the bed or secure it on top of the cover using the included tie downs. Definitely not as convenient as folding it back, like other covers.
Pretty cool, right? Break-ins are common where I live so the extra security of this cover is appealing. I also think it would be a cool way to carry bikes, since they have hard mounts for racks and cross bars.

Pretty cool heavy duty covers. They have the Mav as an option on the drop down menu but I have yet to see one installed on their social media.
Maybe where you live. I wouldn't say most where I live, but we have nice weather. Cars handle better when lowered properly and they usually look better.
