Listing for custom fabricated tailgate tiedowns that work with tailgate assist strut. These are welded from 1/8" mild steel plate and galvanized chain, primed with automotive primer and painted with Rust-Oleum black wheel paint. You can see one attached to my Maverick. These will work with beds...
I ended up adding a 12v battery in the bed cubby after being unable to change the pigtail behavior in forescan, mine would cut power as soon as I took the key out. I added a cheap breakaway battery charger to keep it charged using the factory pigtail. The charger has a diode so the current can't...
Yeah, it was kind of neat setting up, modifying, and tweaking the ender but I found when I wanted to print something I wanted I just wanted it to work, I don't want the printing to be a hobby. Besides I've got enough to figure out learning the modeling software.
Initially I wanted the Bambu, my wife wanted an ender 3 V2 with bed leveling, she won but decided I was right after a couple months and we upgraded to the Bambu P1S with AMS. Definitely the way to go, much faster prints, more filament options with the enclosure and direct extruder and it just...
I had some free time over the Thanksgiving weekend and decided to 3d print some accessories for the Maverick to help learn fusion 360 and the software for the Bambu P1S printer we recently got.
Behind the seat storage: printed brackets to hold crappy harbor freight emergency tool kit...

Congrats on your truck, I've only had mine a couple months and love it. I started figuring out my lighting before I had the truck to pass the time. Thanks for the compliment and hopefully you'll get something useful from it. Battery magnet lights wouldn't be a bad option though.
That looks like a great solution, unfortunately I have an XL so no existing light to tie into. That would certainly be a lot cheaper and easier, mine evolved into quite a project.
I thought I should post an update to this with the changes I made to my setup. I decided to add a battery that can power the lights when the key is not in the ignition as well as a 12v-12v charger to keep it topped off. Having to have the key in the ignition for the lights to work was really...
In the first week of ownership of.my 23 hybrid my 12v battery died completely, possibly a light left on, then I started getting the deep sleep the next day. I could drive to work ( 10 miles, 15 min), it would sit in the parking lot for 10 hours no problem, within 30 min of getting home it went...
