I purchased the IRON Flask water bottle for my Maverick. It does fit in the door but it's a very snug fit. If you are an Amazon prime member you can get it for $19.99

Gee's I just received my skid plate, did a search to see the best way to install it and I came across this thread. I wish I would have seen this before ordering it. Too bad Rival hasn't address this issue on this thread.
I'm debating if I should return it now. The only reason I purchased...
Actually, I do load my 17' wood kayak from the rear all by myself. I have the Yakima HandRoll on the right side of the Elevate rack. I lift the front of the kayak onto the Yakima HandRoll, pickup the rear kayak and push it up onto the rack. I also have a foam pad on the bars and I placed a wide...
You are correct, it would be cheaper to get roof racks. I personally didn't like how the roof clips to the inside of the door jam to hold down the rack. I'm sure it would be safe & sturdy I just didn't want to deal with it. Also, putting my kayak on a roof rack raises it higher than I like...
This is my 17 foot kayak setup. It's balanced on the Thule Dockgrip that cradles the kayak which helps it from twisting left or right and I'm using the Elevate rack. It does stick out about 4' from the rear bumper so I attach a red flag at the end which is not shown here.
Initially I said no to the 2025. After reading about it more I'm going to visit my sales guy and work the numbers. I really don't care about the AWD but like the 4k towing and some of the nice creator features the Lariat has to offer. The current Caravan offer for my 22 XLT is about 22K which...
I prefer Waze b/c it shows the accident and alternate routes if needed. Also, when I set my cruise control to 70 I noticed the speed is always fluctuating in Waze. But when I use Waze in my Taurus the speed in never fluctuate it just displays 70. Anyone else see this problem?
Yakima make a hitch mount bike rack with a ramp. Thule makes one as well but it looks like the ramp is optional.

If you don't mind me asking what areas do you spray this. Do you spray it on the wires?
Also, my Maverick is still at the dealership at no fault of them. It's my insurance company who caused the delay. The quoted the repairs work way too low and had to go back to the dealership and...
It's a Thule bike rack with the 2" receiver. I purchased it 2 years ago from REI when it was on sale. It does come with a cable so you can lock up the bikes but I also have a separate cable lock I use along with the Thule cable lock. I typically leave on all summer and it does tilt down a bit...
On my last trip up North apparently a rodent got inside of the garage. The rodent decided to knock a couple of thing over in the garage and munch on some of the electrical wires in my Maverick. The next morning when I started up my Maverick the engine light came on. I wasn't sure if it was...
On the top of your rack are those slots for T-Bolts? I'm going to assume you can mount Thule or Yakima kayak mounts on top. Also, do you hear a lot of noise from the rack driving down the highway?
I have seen these and I only have one concern when I bolt these down is how bad will it rub against the paint on the fender & hood when it's in use. If I do go this route, I looking at getting some clear tape and placing it where the straps rubs against the paint. I do wished the Maverick...
When I was working 2 or my co-workers drives big trucks. They told me that's not a truck and what am I'm going to do when we get a snow storm since I don't have 4 wheel drive. I told them I really don't care and if we get a snow storm, I'm staying home....end of story.
