OR (and this might sound crazy to you) consider DRIVING your truck! LOL
But seriously, I'm having a ball driving mine around, and keep coming up with excuses to go for a drive. The one down-side of being retired is having to come up with "reasons" to go somewhere... (Definitely first-world...
A lot easier to say in the NY area, where it's only 95º for a few hours on a few days. Try that down here in Texas, when it goes above 95º mid-morning, peaks in the mid-100's, and stays above 90º until well after the sun goes down. And when that goes on for months at a time!
I do enjoy...
It may sound weird, but Ford actually did you a favor on that one... Blowing air over the ice bucket - even 60ºF air from the A/C set to MAX - will cause the ice to melt faster.... Even the "cold" air is a LOT warmer than the ice itself...
Best thing you could do in that situation is avoid...
Geesh! I was pretty proud of this one, until I saw this thread...
That was a "real" drive, under "real" conditions (in "slippery" mode, as usual). The funny thing is, I wasn't really paying much attention to the mileage until right before I got to my destination. There was a long uphill...
That's a pretty safe bet, considering that the vast majority of SUVs and trucks are NEVER used off-road. (And before someone gets hurt by that statement, dirt and gravel roads are still roads... So I would have to include myself in the "never off-road" category. But then, I neither "lift" my...
Yeah. I agree... I get that economic situations change, and that it's possible to order a Maverick when you really needed an F150 (or even an Escape)...
But OP claims to have ordered a very specific vehicle, fully aware of the MSRP and the delivery charges, and surely also aware of the sales...
Well, now I'm embarrassed... Just realized that I haven't posted a single actual picture of my A51 Maverick, despite having picked it up in early December. When I've thought about it (like now), either it was dirty, or I was super busy. I'll fix that later today... (After I wash it! LOL)
Yeah... Be careful here... If you see it (and especially if you take a test drive) you might change your mind and decide to keep it. That's what happened to the first Maverick I was supposed to buy...
The story: The guy who originally ordered it decided he didn't want it (or couldn't...
Can anyone articulate the difference between the Bedrug "Impact" and the Bedding "XLT" bed mats? I'm thinking of getting a Bedrug, but I'm not sure I understand the difference between the two. Seems like the "Impact" had a TPO covering, while the "XLT" has a polypropylene covering. I...

Yes, the colors are a bit muted, as you mention. It's a lower-end system, compared to the Audi (and most other vehicles, to be honest). It's not really that big a deal, since maps look great on it, and that's about the most detailed, color-sensitive application you're likely to use in the vehicle.
I also have to keep reminding myself that not ALL Maverick owners (or orderers) participate in this forum. As Maverick enthusiasts, we may or may not be representative of the greater population at large...
