My divider also would not lock in initially. It was not wide enough. The instructions depict a sliding adjustment that SIMPLY IS NOT THERE. The instructions do not match the actual part.
I could almost get it to lock in, but only almost. Between the discrepancy in the instructions and the fact...
Pointing out the things to be cautious about is not implying the techs are unprofessional.
These are relatively new vehicles in the Ford lineup and using less expensive materials than other Fords. Techs should be made aware beforehand about problems that other techs across the country have...
I have had issues with parts from the Ford Accessories website.
My bed extender came with a manual that had every other english page missing. It was clearly a photocopied manual and someone forgot to enable duplex copying for the english portion before assembling it. Luckily the spanish...
Yes people have had headliner issues after the airbag install, mainly due to broken clips which leaves the headliner sagging, and lots of complaints of greasy/dirty hands leaving prints all over the headliner.
my advice would be to supply several pairs of nitrile gloves to the person who will...
It is throwaway in the sense that once you use a proper tool, you'll throw that mickey mouse contraption away to rid yourself of the shame.
And did anyone in the history of the world (besides you) ever complain about having too many of the right tools for the job -seriously? You will never need...
If the factory as-sold filter really is smaller than the recommended 910S replacement (though I'm skeptical), wrap a few layers of duct tape around the bottom edge, bang on the socket and remove it. Or insert a piece of old inner tube (cut open to thin it out) in the socket, bang it on and...
Why not use a proper filter socket? They work straight up and down too, and no worries about crushing a filter can when you put the new one back in.
You can use any ratchet/breaker bar + extension and/or swivel combo that you need

I placed my order in Sept 2021 without ever setting foot in the dealer or making any deposit.
Picked up my rolled over MY 2023 a couple of months ago. MSRP minus $2750
IIRC you can pull a fuse to reboot that console above the steering wheel. However if there is a real fix with new programming, that would be preferable and worth a trip to the dealer.
I am wondering if there is truly an update, or if the dealer just pulls and reinserts the fuse. The report...
I also installed the divider a few weeks ago. I ditched the cable (which is a safety device to keep the divider from flying out going down the highway), and I am using a motorcycle disc brake lock (u-lock) I had laying around to secure the divider...
Yes, the thief will be alerted. Your job is to hide the airtag such that they cannot find it. That is the point of concealment and removing the speaker. And UWB precision location does not work so great with all that metal surrounding the transmitter.
Only a stupid thief is going to pull over...
If you saw a guy wearing a jean jacket, matching blue jeans, and matching denim sneakers - would you think that looked good?
For some colors it may work, but IMO your truck color is not one of those colors. Nor is the OP's color
I got $2750 off sticker for my 2023, via a private offer
My advice is DO NOT WAIT TO FIND OUT. Contact your dealer asap and have them verify your private offer. Don't wait until your truck arrives
You should not be using those factory lug nuts at all. Throw them in the garbage can as fast as you can. They will screw you down the road, it is not a question of if - only when. I changed mine out two days after I brought the truck home.
I use these, they are already black - I paid $29.99...
