what they actually said is that they would not cross picket lines. Unless UAW workers are picketing train yards, I am not sure that maverick deliveries will be affected.
That is not what OP is asking about, read the whole post.
OP there have been others who have reported this. See this thread

It may not be the joints that went bad in this assembly, no one has ever presented a tear down inspection of the entire assembly from one of these Hybrid CV axles. Could be an issue with twisting shafts, broken splines, metallurgy - who knows.
And most no one outside dedicated CV axle assembly...
Anyone buying or even discussing an extended warranty needs to be very clear on WHOSE warranty they are buying or discussing.
A lot of dealers - as in a majority of them - will try and sell you a dealer or other 3rd party extended warranty and not the factory extended warranty. And they wont...
That is not accurate. Following that logic, no one could move to CA from out of state with an extended warranty and expect to use it. But that is not how it works.
The actual law says that only a vehicle seller licensed by CA DMV or an obliger licensed as a CA vehicle service contract...
Couple of takeaways/lessons.
1) Don't take unproven vehicles to remote locations
2) If you do take a warrantied vehicle to a remote location where a dealer is unavailable, be prepared to pay for your own parts and labor or bring a lot of zip ties, duct tape, and bubblegum to McGyver your way...
Could be coolant leaking from the heat exchanger, which means directly onto the Cat or exhaust, and yes the smell could get interesting.
That coolant is going somewhere. Check for a leak at the heat exchanger, hanging over the exhaust towards the rear of the truck.
There are many reports of...
I also ordered the bumpstepXL for my Ridgeline. If you get it at Cabelas/Basspro with either a Club 10% off (wait for Tuesdays) or a $10/off (sign up for emails) you can save some $, and if you buy discounted gift cards (raise.com) you can save even more. And with ActiveJunky (or perhaps...
The holes in the pan are created to allow engine oil and other fluids to dump on the ground rather than collect under the hood and catch fire in the event of a block breach.
How do you offer an extended warranty on a dead person or a melted down truck?
A union body shop
Given the choice between
- A guy who can't get fired for doing a bad job
- A guy who can get fired for doing a bad job
...I know which one I want working on my car. And you aren't gonna find him at a union body shop
Dang where was the fuse when you really needed it to work
That must have required a lot of current, so seriously where was the fuse. I can't wait to near what the dealer says about this Chernobyl event
Hopefully if you're running a lift kit in a unibody FWD CVaxle truck, you aren't even coming here to complain about CV Axles. All your free time should be spent earning money to pay for more CV axles.
