Well, so far, so good with my Carbonized Gray FE Hybrid after about 600 miles. The bulk of those miles were highway driving back from taking delivery from the dealership, so my overall MPG to-date is only 36 MPG. I have, though, been over 40 mpg on each city driving trip, all the way up to 48.9...
Mine was built around mid February so I while I haven't had the issue (yet) I'm glad there's been an update that could help if I end up having the problem.
Appreciate you keeping us updated. Since I just got my truck a couple of days ago I haven't had time to install the mudflaps yet. I may contact them preemptively about sending me replacement screws....
UPDATE: I did end up contacting the company preemptively and they responded very quickly and...
Thx, and damned good questions! LOL Hell, the dealer already finished the dealer prep so now making financing and pickup decisions later today. Hoping yours arrives soon as well!
The truck is back on yet another flatcar in Illinois as of this morning, so the 2022 Grand Midwest Tour is heading for its next unannounced venue! 🤣🤣
In all seriousness, I know I'm fortunate to have it eventually arrive as I know there are many of my fellow June order folks who don't even have...
Yeah, once mine made it to the Midwest it has made stops (in order) in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and now Illinois again. My truck is officially "ridin' the rails" like during the Depression.
Interesting, but haven't tried UP yet... certainly possible it got switched to them overnight. You spoke with a person when you called them, correct?
EDIT: Actually my truck has been on UP but then switched to NS back on 2/20 and has been on there ever since to the best of my knowledge.
Mine actually has been riding NS pretty much the entire time and the "shipment interchange delivered" message cited Markham IL. Who the hell knows....LOL
My truck has been in the Illinois area for a number of days now, culminating with the latest NS update overnight - "shipment interchange delivered," which sounds to me like it's been moved onto another transportation mode (another rail company or maybe even a trailer), so hopefully that's...
Another bizarro day for my truck...today's alleged movement (if they're not scanning it improperly) pushed my truck yet another 3.5 hours away from the dealership, so if it IS on the rail still then it's apparently touring the entire Midwest. 🤷♂️
The truck is now closer to me than to my dealer! 🤣
Interesting...hadn't thought about that! Yeah, per the NS tracker it was originally at a railyard about 2:45 from the dealership, then 3:45 from it and now nearly 6 hours away from the dealership. LOL
