Yep - mine was around 45 from the factory so I immediately dropped it to 35 before I left the dealership. Fortunately I've been on this forum a long time so I've gathered helpful tidbits like that along the way. Good luck with your new truck!
Besides needing to grease the center pieces, did you need to do any cutting (of the extender itself) or cutting through the bed liner? If yes, any issues for you? I also have an FE so I'd be in same boat for installation. Thx in advance!
I did my Sync update via USB but wasn't able to get the .xml thing to work properly after the update was successfully installed. Anybody else have this issue?
Thx in advance.
I also received the recall notice in the mail today (9/28/22). Not much I can do about it until the parts come in, and I still have to do the under tray recall fix too.
I'm over 6k miles and I have had the sudden grab stop happen (randomly) at crawling speeds probably 7 times. I've driven two different types of Toyota hybrids and never had that issue and I actually worry about it more come Winter.
Guess I'll wait for this one to get into the dealer service system and then schedule it AND the grill shutter recall both to be done at the same time....
First 5k miles and thus far I'm averaging over 45 mpg combined (probably 70/30 city/highway split) and my usual surface street only work commute I'm pushing 53-60 mpg.
