That's a beautiful truck, by the way....But as a hybrid Maverick owner I can definitely swear by the gas mileage!!

I've got about 4k miles on my hybrid and while I haven't had this issue frequently, I've definitely had a few stop-and-go traffic brake grabs as well. Hell, as weird as it may sound it would actually be LESS unsettling if it happened all of the time rather than a few isolated and very random...

Indeed - I found my letters on Etsy though it still hasn't been warm enough here on a consistent basis to apply them.

Mine (built in mid-February) has had the very low speed brake grab twice in the 1200 miles I've driven it and between that and my Ford Pass App not having the horns and lights thing clearly indicates that my truck doesn't have that TSB update yet. No cat glowing issue to-date but I might go...

I finally took delivery of mine on 3/26 (it's a Carbonized Gray FE Hybrid) and have managed a bunch of city driving trips at over 50 MPG!

Out of curiosity for those folks who have had the rusting problem, were the supplied screws silver or black? My flaps came with black ones but I went ahead (as mentioned above) and preemptively asked for replacement screws and they arrived today - they're silver.

Question (this is the first vehicle I've owned with a tow hitch): what material (metal, plastic or some sort of flexible material) is best for a hitch cover? Just want to minimize formation of rust. Thx in advance!

Agreed - and I can use the Ford Pass App to unlock it too, but I was a bit surprised regardless. Then, again, I'm used to almost no tech on my cars. 🤣
