Yeah, the Maverick heated wheel sucks. Feels great for 5-10min and then shuts off, despite the light staying on.

There are pre-cut areas under the dash near the footwells. All you'd need to do is buy the lights, pop them in the openings and wire them up.

At the dealer now getting the recall done, of course they cannot replicate this issue... I'm going to file a complaint with NHTSA since not properly wiping the windshield is a safety issue. I imagine if they received enough complaints Ford would figure out a fix for it.

Can someone with ForScan and the heated steering wheel let me know if you have access to these values? If so, have you had any success modifying them? My heated steering wheel times out after like 10min, despite the light being on. It would be nice to know if it could be changed.
