correct, I’m affirming orders aren’t the problem with explorer either. This is a wide spread issue throughout ford.
  2. Dealer Insight Into Delays: Hybrid / Co-Pilot 360 / Luxury Package / Spray-In Bedliner (by Tim Bartz)

The chip shortage is only part of the problem. There are shortages of multiple trim items as well. The explorer factory production is laid off for two weeks, not because of lack of orders but because they have run out of room to park vehicles that are built but awaiting miscellaneous parts in...

  7. Multi-month delay for February 2022 deliveries - Why?

Probably waiting for a full size spare tire so they can ship.
  8. Dealer Insight Into Delays: Hybrid / Co-Pilot 360 / Luxury Package / Spray-In Bedliner (by Tim Bartz)

Yeah well they can’t have a contract for every mini spare since they don’t know how many they need so it’s all speculation on both sides. I just find it humorous that a tire would be on constraint when it’s simply an exchange. Hell, if it’s that important ford could just build it without the...
  9. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

No one understands the proprietary allocation process. Maybe not even ford. The first rule of the allocation process, is not talking about the allocation process. Pure speculation on my part, but yeah I personally don’t believe they will have enough
  10. šŸ“ˆ Maverick January 2022 Sales & Production Numbers: 6,513 Sold / 7,842 Produced

Add the horrible allocation process in as well. Might not get a 22 at all. Ford: yeah ummmm….. Roll the dice
  11. Dealer Insight Into Delays: Hybrid / Co-Pilot 360 / Luxury Package / Spray-In Bedliner (by Tim Bartz)

Without the full size spare you still get a spare though. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  12. Multi-month delay for February 2022 deliveries - Why?

The explorer has stereo screen shortages and brake controller shortages. But they are running 3 production shifts 11 hours a day and working off Sundays and Saturdays.
  13. Here's one legit reason to get a lift kit

I think it just needs the 1ā€ front lift to level the truck. I saw someone Who did just that on here and it looks great and it’s useful
  14. FL Dealers Charging More Than MSRP and Those That Aren’t

That’s when you finance and then call ford credit for the payoff a week later. Unscrupulous dealers like to tell customers you have to wait three months to pay off your loan. That’s just not true, at three months they get their kick back but you can pay off whenever as it’s a simple interest...
  15. šŸ“ˆ Maverick January 2022 Sales & Production Numbers: 6,513 Sold / 7,842 Produced

They have the capacity to build over 20k units a month at that plant if they have parts easily. If they mix it, parts dependent, they could easily build 14k maverick a month out of the 20k+ production That’s 84k maverick in six months. That would put a dent in orders I’m guessing. All parts...
  16. šŸ“ˆ Maverick January 2022 Sales & Production Numbers: 6,513 Sold / 7,842 Produced

Meh, they can adjust the mix if they have the parts. The maverick doesn’t weigh substantially more so the overhead conveyors can handle them. They will likely start building 2/3 maverick if they can all summer. The bronco sport was a big deal at first but it sure has not sustained the initial...
