  1. Unidentified rubber pad in 2022 Maverick...

Can anyone explain the 2 inch rock I discovered in the right rear door? After strange noises I popped off the panel and there it was! By the way, it is easy to remove door panels on the Maverick.
  2. Eight months have passed and still no Maverick.

I had a delightful conversation with someone at Ford.com. The scheduling/production is shifted weekly based on their ability to quickly get the trucks out the door. Any delayed parts moves you down the list. I waited the typical 15 months to get mine.
  3. Finally fixed my rattling dash!

Glad you were successful. I’ll give it a try. But what a pitiful exposure to Ford’s lack of fixing a Maverick issue that’s been going on for months. Otherwise: A good truck!
  4. Hybrid clicking noises after engine shut down?

I appreciate the fact that these noises are normal. But what are they? A drain on the 12 volt system at the least.
  5. Maverick vs Rivian R1T side-by-side comparison look

The Rivian looks fat and ugly when next a Maverick.
  6. Just sold the Maverick to Carmax.

  8. No Plans for Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) Maverick Says Mike Levine

Love my hybrid maverick. Would quickly trade it for a hybrid AWD.
  9. Price protection 22>23?

I placed my Maverick order Oct 2021. Delivered March 2023. Upon delivery the dealer (through Ford) discounted $2750 off current price to honor original order price. That included a promised $1000 ā€˜order early’ promo from Ford that ran until Nov 1st 2021. Paid $19k and change for my XL. They did...
  10. Are these fees normal?

There are dealers who charge no doc fees. Here they can run up to $499. Or as low as $0. Bought my Maverick at $0. Shop around.
  11. My Maverick didn't come with everything I wanted.

Do remember that the independent Ford dealership is there to sell you a vehicle. Period. They often don’t provide either the compassion or the personnel to follow up on factory updates. Just the way it is.
  12. Possible debris blockage at windshield?

Just took delivery! There is a 3 1/2 inch gap between the back end of the Maverick hood and the windshield. In that ā€˜hole’ are the cabin air intakes and windshield spray nozzles. Being in the north country, that looks like a place where snow and leaves will settle and compress. Anyone have...
  13. Sales manager knowledge

Folks need to remember that Ford dealerships are independent agents. Not owned by Ford. They exist to sell you cars.
  14. Does Ford Motor Company really follow-up with you after posting here?

FCC has been responsive to me w issues re my Maverick. Go online, seek a human connection and be nice. Not demanding. They exist to solve problems not to fight battles.
  15. Much better MPG in Eco mode vs normal mode?

Come on guys. Watch the gauges. Eco gives an easy 20% improvement in mileage, Compared to what I’m reading here. I’m on Eco constantly. 43.2 mpg total after 1600 miles nice new. Beats the heck out my wife’s Camry hybrid. Plenty of power. In town/rural driving of course. If you bust 55 mph...
