Can anyone explain the 2 inch rock I discovered in the right rear door?

By the way, it is easy to remove door panels on the Maverick.
I had a delightful conversation with someone at Ford.com. The scheduling/production is shifted weekly based on their ability to quickly get the trucks out the door. Any delayed parts moves you down the list.
I waited the typical 15 months to get mine.
Glad you were successful. Iāll give it a try. But what a pitiful exposure to Fordās lack of fixing a Maverick issue thatās been going on for months.

Do remember that the independent Ford dealership is there to sell you a vehicle. Period. They often donāt provide either the compassion or the personnel to follow up on factory updates. Just the way it is.
Just took delivery! There is a 3 1/2 inch gap between the back end of the Maverick hood and the windshield. In that āholeā are the cabin air intakes and windshield spray nozzles. Being in the north country, that looks like a place where snow and leaves will settle and compress.

FCC has been responsive to me w issues re my Maverick. Go online, seek a human connection and be nice. Not demanding. They exist to solve problems not to fight battles.
