Can anyone explain the 2 inch rock I discovered in the right rear door? After strange noises I popped off the panel and there it was! By the way, it is easy to remove door panels on the Maverick.

I had a delightful conversation with someone at Ford.com. The scheduling/production is shifted weekly based on their ability to quickly get the trucks out the door. Any delayed parts moves you down the list. I waited the typical 15 months to get mine.

Glad you were successful. I’ll give it a try. But what a pitiful exposure to Ford’s lack of fixing a Maverick issue that’s been going on for months. Otherwise: A good truck!

I appreciate the fact that these noises are normal. But what are they? A drain on the 12 volt system at the least.

There are dealers who charge no doc fees. Here they can run up to $499. Or as low as $0. Bought my Maverick at $0. Shop around.

Do remember that the independent Ford dealership is there to sell you a vehicle. Period. They often don’t provide either the compassion or the personnel to follow up on factory updates. Just the way it is.

Just took delivery! There is a 3 1/2 inch gap between the back end of the Maverick hood and the windshield. In that ‘hole’ are the cabin air intakes and windshield spray nozzles. Being in the north country, that looks like a place where snow and leaves will settle and compress. Anyone have...

Folks need to remember that Ford dealerships are independent agents. Not owned by Ford. They exist to sell you cars.

FCC has been responsive to me w issues re my Maverick. Go online, seek a human connection and be nice. Not demanding. They exist to solve problems not to fight battles.
