Jeez, ordering a newly designed vehicle is the first two years is always a problem. Especially if loaded up with gee-gaws. Fortunately My stripped 23 Maverick has had NO problems after 5k miles.
Wow! Iâm fortunate I received my 2023 Hybrid XL ( ordered 0ct 2021) for $19,158. ( including Ford rebates/discount). Worth every penny! 4100 miles so far. No issues. 45.9 average mpg.
My experience with other new vehicles is that they all come pre-wired for accessories. That way on the production line accessories are simply plugged in. I DONâT know if that is true with Mavericks.
Jeez, I bought my Maverick to seek simplicity. It is a vehicle in the right direction and I like it. But has things I donât want and donât need. My early 80âs Ford Ranger had crank up windows, no AC, 3 speed standard and no electronics except a basic radio. 39 mpg. It was a real (tiny) truck...
The Maverick was designed, build and sold as a small, gas efficient and cheap truck. My base Hybrid XL cost me under $20k after rebates, gives me 45.8 mpg after 6 months and is comfortable and a pleasure to drive. Completely happy with it!
Remember if you order a lot of gee-gaws installed it...
