I also have 22 awd eb 4K and noticed this past winter that a.s.s. had stopped working. I had dealership look at and test battery and they said nothing wrong and all looked good and they even said a.s.s. was working for them. I doubted their story that it worked for them, and figured they...
I prefer the subtle color contrast look for my tailgate lettering. I wanted gray color that matched XLT wheels but couldnāt find so I went with raised chrome letters on my iconic silver. I recommend raised lettering to enhance the contrast.
Not the HPR example you would prefer but may help you...
I just lift off both sections of upright with crossbar attached. First the rear section and then the front section. I also bought a set of threaded star knobs on Amazon which thread onto the t-bolts for the uprights and that way I can just leave them in the rails. Pic attached.
A few months ago I drove by a local hospital that has a birth announcement billboard facing the highway. I pulled over and had to take a picture when I saw this one flash by ā¦.
I did something similar. Hauled ten 16-foot deck boards using my elevate racks and a blanket on the roof. I also have Yakima load stops that fit the rack t-slots and provide a nice strapping point. It was a 10-mile drive at about 45 mph. I donāt think I would go much further or faster with this...
I just received Focal 165 set from Crutchfield and will install in the next few weeks. Did you install the crossoverās that come with the kit ? I remember reading a post about whether or not to install them but I canāt recall the advice.
i think youāre going to need to get that wax off before you add anything else. I had carnuba wax residue on my trim and used - Motherās Back to Black Trim and Plastic Restorer - to remove it. Had to scrub like hell and got about 95% off with first round. Iāll do a second round in a few weeks...
I donāt know about the VW 1.8T but I have a GTI with the 2.0T that I run only 93 OCT and the Maverick power/acceleration holds up pretty well in comparison.
26k miles driven over 30 months with only 87 Octane and I have never had a issue with reduced engine power at any RPM. I even towed a light utility trailer ( 500 lbs ) to Florida and back ( 3k miles ) with no issues.
I only use Top-Tier gas, specifically Exxon or Sunoco. If I tow anything...
same here. I use as a work truck with tool bags on the backseat. Iām in and out of the back doors all day and use the keypad constantly. This is my first Ford and so had no prior experience with keypad entry and I absolutely love this feature.
The install was as easy as it looked in the video, with the exception I had a little trouble snapping the screen back into place after placing the phone mount, but it finally went after keeping at it for a few minutes.
And now that I just re-watched the install video, I think my problem may be...
my screen came off pretty easy like in the video. There were only the two green clips holding it, one on each side of the screen. Yours may be slightly caught up, it should free up with some wiggle and enough force. Also helpful if you have a flat trim tool to help pry it off like in video.
