It is a friends trailer that I borrowed. He said it was a 6'x12' and was 75" high. He said it weighed approx. 1800 lbs. empty. I drove 60 mph most of the time but found myself going 70 mph at some points to avoid getting run over by Semi trucks. It did not have electric brakes so If I ever...
Well when there are 250,000 Toyota Tacos sold each year I would say that ther is really only 1 (normal years) production of gen 1. It does not look like Gen 2 is going to knock it out of the park and starting price is now $30k. No thanks
The reason I bought this Maverick is because I live in a Condo that has a small garage and have children on each coast and Indiana. I live in Cincinnati. I have had every configuration truck over the years but always found faults. They either were too big, (did not fit in my garage or not big...
After my Ford dealer put twice the amount of oil in my 2012 Fusion years ago (even before COVID started) I never trusted them to do another oil change. Also if the carwash has bristles then look past your plate and check out the 10,000 little spider scratches in your paint. no auto car washes...
I did order one and then regretted it so I bought a Lariat AWD 4K tow that was on the lot (brand new) I just towed a 6x12 trailer yesterday that weighed a guesstimated 3K to 3.5K and got 16.5 MPG I was very impressed on how it pulled the trailer.
I just took my Maverick down to 50 miles left and filled it with 14.25 gallons of gas. I do stop at the first click and do not try to put more in but I doubt I could get in another 3 gallons. I would try a different gas station for sure.
To me this Maverick is a lot like the Dodge Caravan back in the day. I remember asking my boss why he kept buying new Dodge caravans every 3 years when there were way better mini vans out there. He told me he loves the way it was set up and the way it rode and drove. I said yes but I know you...
The Maverick 2.0 gas tank is only 16.5 gallons and I see you put in 17.555 one fill up? I run mine down to 50 miles left and never put in more than 15 gallons. I think you gas station is ripping you off.
I have had my Lariat 2.0 AWD 4k tow for 3 months and 5000 miles and averaging 29pmg. I drive 80% highway. I am running full synthetic oil and Shell gas.
Thank you for keeping us updated on your truck. I have a 2024 Lariat 2.0 AWD and will agree that it a lot quieter and rides better than my brothers 23 XLT with the premium pkg. My plan is to keep this until around the 80K mark and then trade for new. At 5k miles I am still on the fence about...
I agree I have had no issues with my Ecoboost and at 5000 miles my gas mileage meter is reading 30.1 mpg. I do drive a lot of highway but not all highway. Time will tell but hoping for 80K trouble free and then trade it for something new.
I bought a set of Mabett Side Marker lights from Amazon return auction. These appear to be brand new but who ever bought them originally must of kept the red T taps that dig into the wire to make them easy to hook up. I could buy some and install but I think I will hold off on this upgrade. I...
Not sure if you have a Discount tire in your area but they rotate tires for free even if not bought there. Just make sure you go to Discount tire and not Tire Discounters (Big difference)
I agree with others about being a cheap Ford made in Mexico but it really depends on your operating strategy. It seems to me but I may be wrong that the Hybrids seems to have way more recalls and issues than the gas model. Personally I bought a Maverick because it is truly a small truck and easy...
So since you do not rotate your tires do you usually get the miles out of your tires as they are warrantied for? The reason I ask is here in Cincinnati Discount tire NOT (Tire Discounters) will rotate your tires for free even if you did not buy the tires from them. (like my new Maverick) so...
I know I am crazy but if that happened to my Lariat I would get it fixed and then trade it in. Stupid thing financially but I can't stand to drive a wrecked truck.
Anyone get the tail light recall done yet? I just called my dealer and they said to bring it in tomorrow but not sure I want to be the first victim i mean customer.
I have the EB engine and decided to go with Motorcraft full synthetic oil at 500 miles and change every 5K miles. Here is my dilemma: I am at 4500 miles on the full synthetic and it has a strong gas smell. The level is the same as when I changed it so I am guessing I lost some oil and gained...
