The key word here is GFCI (Ground fault interrupter circuit. You are leaking a little juice to ground somewhere. Has nothing to do with the amperage load. and your right it has nothing to do with towing on the Maverick forum. :)

When I took My Maverick in for the one and only recall on this truck so far they said they needed it for 6 hours. I said 6 hours to calibrate some electronic gizmo and she said sir just be glad you don't have transmission issue's because the current wait time for getting in for warranty...

Well just got back from the Ford dealer and now they say ........ wait for it ...........Normal wear. They now say its the motor mount rubber "normal wear" causing the black rubber dust. My brother has a 23 XLT Ecoboost so next time I see him I will look at his truck.

I took it to my Ford dealer today. I just stopped in with no appointment. They had a mechanic look at it and he said the pulley down below was pretty far out of alignment. I was set to buy a XL AWD but after test driving that and then the Lariat I spent the extra $7500 for the Lariat and absolutely love it. My brother has the XLT and the noise/ride difference is very noticeable vs my Lariat plus all the luxury that I am used to in the Lariat.

I just hit 8k with my Ecoboost Maverick. I was checking the oil the other day and noticed this black coating on the motor mount and belt pulley. Has anyone else seen this? I wonder if its coming from my belt or the motor mount. I searched the forum before posting but did not find anything.
