Just got back from a 2500 mile trip. Cincinnati to Clearwater Fla. 34.3 mpg. On the way back 32.4 mpg. Over the entire 10,000 miles on this truck 29mpg. Could not be happier with gas mileage
There is a very good video on Youtube about Maverick extreme towing. 4000 pounds up a mountain. The Maverick does fine but the temp is 1 tick from the red so starting to wonder bout the 4k towing. To be transparent they said the trailer weighed 4k and those to occupants are heavy hitters so...
The key word here is GFCI (Ground fault interrupter circuit. You are leaking a little juice to ground somewhere. Has nothing to do with the amperage load. and your right it has nothing to do with towing on the Maverick forum. :)
When I took My Maverick in for the one and only recall on this truck so far they said they needed it for 6 hours. I said 6 hours to calibrate some electronic gizmo and she said sir just be glad you don't have transmission issue's because the current wait time for getting in for warranty...
I am really struggling on the topic of buying the ford extended warranty for my 2024 Maverick. To be clear I have only bought 1 extended warranty and that was 25 years ago when I bought a Mercury Villager (Nissan made) and the only reason I bought is because if I did not use it then I would get...
I have 7800 miles on my Maverick AWD. I have had the collision warning 3 times. Every time there was nothing even close so that is a weird that everyone is reporting the same. Did you get the recall for the calibration thing done yet? I just got mine done yesterday and was hoping it might fix...
I will try to clean it tomorrow. Up to this point I wiped it with my finger it comes off on my finger. It’s also on the pulley and wipes off. Sure feels like rubber residue.
Well just got back from the Ford dealer and now they say ........ wait for it ...........Normal wear.
They now say its the motor mount rubber "normal wear" causing the black rubber dust. My brother has a 23 XLT Ecoboost so next time I see him I will look at his truck.
Whoever modified that Maverick lost their rear-end on that thing. This is when you have more money than cents. I agree the dealer gave under $40k trade in on this thing so you talk him down $20k and they are still making a killing.
I agree with you. I am guessing if you take your Maverick in just for an oil change you will get the Quicky lube service that is performed by an "oil change tech" who only changes oil as fast as he or she can. All the so called inspections are penciled whipped. The reason I believe this is...
I took it to my Ford dealer today. I just stopped in with no appointment. They had a mechanic look at it and he said the pulley down below was pretty far out of alignment. Of course they could not get it in to repair until Tuesday. I will give an update then. needless to say this baby is getting...
I was set to buy a XL AWD but after test driving that and then the Lariat I spent the extra $7500 for the Lariat and absolutely love it. My brother has the XLT and the noise/ride difference is very noticeable vs my Lariat plus all the luxury that I am used to in the Lariat.
I just hit 8k with my Ecoboost Maverick. I was checking the oil the other day and noticed this black coating on the motor mount and belt pulley. Has anyone else seen this? I wonder if its coming from my belt or the motor mount. I searched the forum before posting but did not find anything.
Might want to visit the Japanese Forums because I think Covid has brought all manufacturing quality down. I am going in a different direction I am waiting for 11 months are up evaluate my Maverick and if I am feeling good about it (so far no issues at 8K then I will buy the 100,000 mile Ford...
Yes I agree you are getting good gas mileage. You can't always believe the gas mileage read out on any car/truck. You said you towed a flat trailer a couple times and that 16.2 mpg would match what I would expect to get so was that recently? I know after I towed mt trailer it takes a couple...
Do you fill up at the same gas station? How many miles do you get out of 1 tank? How many gallons do you put in it when you only have 50 miles left in the tank?
